Seth Almon: Another day at Strange Brew, and Seth is having a cigarette at the front counter. Slow, slow day. He reads from an order-looking book, heavy and leather-bound.

Morgane Kristanovitch: Well she had made the decision as she comes into the store. She was back alone this time. Looking pretty much the same as last time. Nice pants, boots, sweater and jacket on. A slight smile on her face.

Candy d'Mirque: Candy is actually down in the shop, crouching down to stare up and through the dangling pendants, suspended shining things, and other chain-bound stones along the display. She's been meticulously tidy in her stay thus far, and though timid for days, now approaches things without touching, with a certain sharp curiosity.

Morgane Kristanovitch: A raise of her eyesbrow as she walks in to Candy. "Good day." she calls out to either one of them if they did not note her entrance. She nods to Seth, although they had only met once previously.

Seth Almon: He looks up as Morgane comes in, smiling in her direction. "Ahh, good afternoon." He nods to her, stubbing the cigarette out in an ashtray under the counter. "How are you today."

Seth Almon: He looks over at Candy, smiling warmly in her direction.

Candy d'Mirque: Candy is dressed in ill fitting clothes. Her new looking jeans went out of style ten years ago, and are at odds with her worn-in street shoes forgettable shirt. Her look, right down to the ponytail bound with her own, fine brown hair, conspire to make her look unassuming. To overlook her almost entirely, on normal sight. Her exposed arms show an occasional mark and blemish - oddly small, pitted marks sunken into her sunless skin, red-purple and nagry looking. She's pale. Her eyes are pale, a washed out looking blue sunken into her face above sharp cheekbones that might have been carved. It gives her a high-boned and severe look that might be softened if she gained ten pounds. She perks up and looks aside, unsmiling but neither unfriendly. "Hello," she replies softly, somewhat blankly.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She looks from Cady back to Seth. "I am doing well thank you for asking, and yourself?"

Morgane Kristanovitch: (Cady=Candy))

Candy d'Mirque: She smiles in return to Seth, closed lipped as they invariably are. Falling easily into a temporary silence, the new person here watches the other two that seem to know eachother, studying them both.

Seth Almon: "I'm doing well, doing well." He nods. "So what can I do for you, Miss Morgane?"

Morgane Kristanovitch: A nod of her head. "I would like to see about aquireing some of those texts we spoke on last time I was here."

Seth Almon: "Of course." He nods, stepping out from behind the counter. "Oh...I'm sorry." He looks to Candy, and gesturing to Morgane. "This is Morgane Kristanovich. Very nice young lady." A look to Morgane. "And this is...another very nice young lady. A friend of mine." He goes to get the books.

Candy d'Mirque: A little blink at that. She stands and smooths her jeans. Just jeans.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She nods and keep up her smile to Candy. "I pleasure to meet with you Miss."

Candy d'Mirque: Another closed-lipped smile, this time to Morgane. She also doesn't offer her own name. "N- nice to meet you, Morgane." Less a stutter than a momentary falter, there, just before falling securely into a greeting.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She takes note of the fact no name was given for Candy,She does not seem to offer her hand in greeting havintg clasped them in front of herself when she walked in. "I did not see you here the other day I was here, are you around often?"

Candy d'Mirque: One might note the look she flashes back to Seth before returning pale eyes to Morgane - not a giddy look, but rather an uncertain one. Likely uncertain how to answer, or if indeed she should? She nods somewhat hesitantly. "Yes, lately. I ah, haven't been around that long."

Morgane Kristanovitch: A nod her her head. She seems pleasant enough. "You are liking New Yrok then?" she doesn't know the differences in where accents come from her own of course, a russian accent.

Seth Almon: He's going through the books, pulling a few out. Pausing from time to time, as if considering whether it's a good choice or not.

Candy d'Mirque: Candy speaks largely without an accent - the blank state of gradually increasing portions of the country. She shifts somewhat uneasily, fidgeting hands into her side pockets. "Not really," she confesses. "It's crowded, and clogged. It's mostly nice on the indoors, and in good company, I think. Are you.. ah, do you come here often?"

Morgane Kristanovitch: She hasn't come closer to the girl and studies her as she speaks. "To this shop, this is my second visit. To the city, my first visit but I am to be living here from now on. I am sorry that you are not liking it. I find it quite the interesting place, myself." ((rolling to study Candy's emotions))

Candy d'Mirque: She nods somewhat stiffly, hesitating in a moment as she's uncertain quite how to respond. Eventually and somewhat belatedly, it's with another smile. "That's good. It's good to hear." A glance from Morgane to Seth and back again, not exactly quick, but curious.

Seth Almon: He looks back over his shoulder to the duo, and then back to selecting the books. A total of four picked up, and he rises, making his way over.

Morgane Kristanovitch: A softer kinder smile to Candy. "Perhaps I should look around while I wait for my books." she says politely to Candy. "If you have any suggestions on anything that would be interesting to purchace, let me know."

Candy d'Mirque: "Well, that shines.." She offers back toward the display. And doesn't seem to have any immediate shame over the statement. "It's nice, and uncomplicated. It's just there, and cut without sharpness, and it's..." She tilts her head to the right, lips parting slightly while she searches for a word. "Pretty," she decides at last.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She was about to walk off to go look around to give Candy some space, but when she notes Seth is walking about, she pauses and smiles to him. And then looks over to Candy looks to shee what she is looking at and nods her head. "It is quite an interesting item."

Seth Almon: Practical Psychometry by Hashnu O. Hara, A Guide to Telepathy and Psychometry by S. G. J. Ouseley, The PK Zone: A Cross-Cultural Review of Psychokinesis by Pamela Rae Heath, and ESP and Psychokinesis: A Philosophical Examination by Stephen E. Braude are all handed over to Morgane. "There's a good primer to get you started," he says, smiling to her.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She takes the books handed to her and reads over the titles a few blinks of her eyes. "Why would you suggest this first one?" she asks Seth with a glance up Indicating; Practical Psychometry by Hashnu O. Hara

Candy d'Mirque: Her attention shifts back to Seth - he's moving and speaking again, and that fairly automatically grabs her attention, and holds it for a while even if it's not directly relative back to her. She studies him and what he's doing as if she should be committing this to memory.

Seth Almon: "Just a feeling." He shrugs and smiles.

Morgane Kristanovitch: The smile doesn't waver but she is suddenly on guard with Seth. "I see. It is like your feelings on the gender distinctions of your crystals?" she inquires.

Candy d'Mirque: Her head tilts to the other side, unobtrusively watching from her safe distance.

Seth Almon: "No, that's fact." He doesn't change his attitude at all. "This...is more a hunch."

Candy d'Mirque: After a brief smile, she straightens, and slips away again. Likely, she probably thinks a goodbye would only interrupt them - she makes her way out of this room as quietly and unobtrusively as possible, retreating to the hall and room again.

Morgane Kristanovitch: "A hunch." it is more statement than question she watches Seth as she moves towards the counter placing the biiks there. "So you have a hunch that I shall be able to learn from these books, to do these things?" she asks "When i do not believe that they work that way?"

Morgane Kristanovitch: She notes Camdy's dissapearance from the room, thanks to her good hearing, but doesn't say goodbye to the girl, she doesn't wish to push her too far.

Seth Almon: "How do you know whather they work the way the books say? You haven't read them yet." He grins a bit.

Morgane Kristanovitch: A raise of an eyebrow towards him. "I never said that I ~knew~ that they worked the way the books say I do not know what.....psychometry even is." she actually had to look at the book and aound the word out a bit, before looking back to him. "And I did peruse the books on telekinesis the other day and know they state it a 'movement of the mind' no?"

Morgane Kristanovitch: "And you misunderstand. I ment, that I do not believe that you could learn these things from book."

Seth Almon: "No, I understood." He nods. "Like I said, you haven't read them."

Morgane Kristanovitch: She studies him, like she does oh so many other people as she pulls out her wallet so that she can pay for the books. "No you are correct I have not sat down to read each of these books in depth"

Morgane Kristanovitch: d10: Per+Empathy: 8,5,4,6,8,5,

Seth Almon -> Morgane Kristanovitch: He's very intrigued by her. There's something about her that he can't quite put a finger on, but he seems to be impressed by something about her. Her potential, perhaps.

Morgane Kristanovitch: She takes a deep breath and let's it out slowely. "You would possibly do better plying your hunches on other customers. I will take them all." she nods towards the books.

Seth Almon: "Excellent." He nods and goes to ring her up.
