Fangwulf: *It seems
different than last month. The rectangular tables are still out, but in a
somewhat different design. Within the main hall, there are tapestries out, and
perhaps Lady Wallace has determined this will be a Meeting House for all Sidhe.
The Tapestries, one for each house, though perhaps more elaborate. The only one
that seems missing is the Silver Unicorn. The Dragon, of course, being on the
back wall, and larger than the others. The Ruling house, as she sees fit.*
Fangwulf: *As for the
actual room, seats are put out, the tables, it seems, lessened, and more
arranged for a proper meeting. The first, being an obvious and extremely
outgoing call for power. This one... perhaps she is trying to look as the social
elite. There are hors d'oeuvres out, and most of them quite classy. Only a
couple of the boggan servants out.*
Fangwulf: *There are
representatives, too, at least one, from every House. Every house that matters,
anyway. Even Balor seemed kind enough to send a representative. And gaguing by
the odd head-spines, one would hope that he is sane.*
Fangwulf: ((And it
seems that Rav is busy. He can join in a bit later, though.))
Fangwulf: ((Go ahead
and start arriving peeps.))
Moira Connolly: Pampered and elegantly
dressed as always, even though she has no real title its no excuse for her to
look shabby. he gown was slim with lace panals over satin Black and silver being
her color scheme. her hair done up tonight with a few framing curls. she moves
up to the doors and looks around once she is inside.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine arrives,
tonight in her normal choice in vehicle... a expensive black sports car that is
left nearby the Freehold. Tonight though she is dressed in a designer pantsuit
for her Mortal seeming and full armor complete with her sword for her Fae
seeming. She stands there on the sidewalk to wait for her companion tonight to
get out of the car as well.
Morgan Beaumaris: Morgan steps out,
dressed in her black leather outfit and her hound moves out too behind her.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine then leads
them inside after giving a quick look around outside. Once inside she looks
around calmly and takes it all in.
Fangwulf: *A boggan
of course approaches Morgan and offers water for her fine Hound. Each one is
announced as they enter. Formal informal formalities. Try saying THAT ten times
fast.*
Corinne Braddock: ((Here now. I hate
people.))
Morgan Beaumaris: She is polite to the
boggan when water is offered, and thanks them.
Moira Connolly: She looks around for where
she is supposed to be seated, which is most likely with the lower titles. She
looks around to see who else is there.
Fangwulf: *There does
not seem to be assigned seating. The Lady herself is out mingling.*
Corinne Braddock: She arrives just a touch
fashionable late...any Fiona must make an entrance, of course. She's dressed in
a crimson, full-length dress with a neckline low enough to draw the eye, yet not
so low as to be vulgarly scandalous...just "regular" scandalous. Her dark hair
is worn up by a silver lion clasp with a few coiled strands strategicly placed
free of the rest to brush her neck and direct attention there by their
conspicuousness, and silver is the color of the chain that holds the ruby
teardrop necklace that rests against the top of her breastbone. On her feet are
heeled sandals, the same silver as the rest of the accessories of her outfit.
When she's announced, she smiles and looks around, nodding to those who meet her
gaze, and looks about the place before moving to take a seat.
Morgan Beaumaris: She'll be sitting with
Katherine. For now she looks around and takes it all in.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine looks to
Corinne when she is announced and nods to the Fiona before turning and moving to
one of the tables and takes a seat.
Fangwulf: *Poor
Corinne. It seems she is the only one of her House there.*
Moira Connolly: She sees Katherine and and
Morgan she would join them if invited to but doubtless, she takes a random seat
otherwise.
Corinne Braddock: She notes that she is
the only Fiona present with a slight quirk of her lips, then graces Katherine
with a smile before she settles down with a glass of wine.
Morgan Beaumaris: She takes a seat as
well, the hound following and laying at her feet under the table.
Fangwulf: *So much
servitude done by so few Boggans. But then again, that IS their purpose, isn't
it? Again, the meeting portion of this gathering seems important. The Lady of
the hour is just a social creature. Charming. Dashing. Debonair.*
Katherine Coventry: Katherine doesn't
drink or eat anything, for now just taking in the various guests and waits.
Fangwulf: *Very few are
sitting. The Balor. And the Sidhe from the first gathering, the one who did not
introduce himself.*
Corinne Braddock: She looks over to the
nearby Katherine from her seat and smiles warmly. "A pleasure to see you again.
How are you?"
Moira Connolly: She looks around slowly
studying more so than anything. although it seems she is more just waiting her
eyes looking to where the Lady is and the Balor, then to Morgan and Kathrine and
the one approaching them. Someone she didn't know.
Katherine Coventry: "Well enough, and
yourself?" she asks casually after looking between the Balor and Unkown. Her
focus then settles on Corinne.
Morgan Beaumaris: Morgan is even more
unusually quiet this evening, giving Corrine a polite nod but nothing more. She
too isn't interested in food or drink at the moment.
Corinne Braddock: "Quite well, thank you."
Her smile gorws a bit more pleasant, and she sips her wine. "Business ventures
are proving quite equitable as of late." She follows Katherine's gaze to the two
other sitting Sidhe, then back. "I imagine this shall prove rather
interesting...first meeting and all."
Fangwulf: *Ladu
Alsun Wallace ni Ailil, of course, makes her way past the small group. It is
rude to interrupt. She makes her way to the head of the table. The Unknown is
sipping at tea, it seems.*
Fangwulf: *The Balor
himself is closer to Moira. He nods once to her, in greeting. Young enough that
his mind is not gone.*
Moira Connolly: She nods to the passing
lady her eyes more focused to the unknown.
Corinne Braddock: She looks up and smiles
to Lady Wallace, nodding to her respectfully, before looking back to Katherine.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine glances to
Alsun as she makes her way past, looking back to Corinne and nodding once more.
"One should hope." she says with a slight hint of a grin.
Fangwulf: *Lady Wallace
is smooth on the floor. She smiles to all and greets with a graceful wave,
before she finds her seat next to the Unknown. She sighs, and sits down. And of
course, those standing start to find seats.*
Moira Connolly: She returns the nod
towards him polite with a slight curl of her lips
Katherine Coventry: Katherines eyes turn
back to Alsun as she gets comfortable, raising an eyebrow slightly about
something before frowns a littls and looks to Morgane and then over to Corinne
briefly.
Corinne Braddock: The unknown gets a warm
smile and a subtle nod of her head, before she sits back, straight against the
chair, and sips her wine.
Morgan Beaumaris: Morgan looks to the
unknown, having focused again upon her surroundings again, and gives him a
cordial smile and nod. Then she looks back to Katherine.
Fangwulf: *Settling
seems to happen everywhere. Alsun's smile is still intact, and she waits. She
seems pleasant enough, though therein is the power.*
Fangwulf: *Surprisingly
enough, the Sidhe sipping at his tea gives a respectful nod, albeit a cold one,
in Corinne's direction.*
Fangwulf: *Morgan's
response is, perhaps a bit more blunt, but still there, as his attention returns
to Alsun, merely waiting.*
Corinne Braddock: Once the nod is
returned, she turns her eyes to Alsun, sipping her wine once more before setting
it down and waiting.
Morgan Beaumaris: She folds her hands in
her lap and waits for the meeting to start.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine finally turns
her focus to Alsun and waits as well.
Moira Connolly: Her focus on Alsun curious
as to what news there would be. she seemed relaxed.
Fangwulf: Good,
everyone is here, *she says pleasantly enough.* Good evening, one and all. Some
familiar faces. Others... have traveled from quite some distance, and I thank
you all for your troubles.
Corinne Braddock: She smiles and nods,
accepting the gratitude graciously.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine nods slightly,
but doesn't say anything else while she listens.
Fangwulf: *Morgan's
dog's water dish is refilled; the boggans remain quiet through Alsun's words.
Cleaning up. Barely noticeable.* This City has now been under our glorious
banner for thirty turns of the sun. The Waking of The Edge of the World is
complete. Its guardian keeps the Mortals away. Our security is complete. *She
takes a deep breath, and slides around the side of the chair, Around back,
leaning on it.* The one thing I would most like to know, however, is of our
involvement with this so-called Treaty that protects the rights of those
Supernaturals. We have not become involved with it yet, as it is a weapon that
can be used against us. We have some mutual and old allies among those.
However... there are some of our own that battle the Dark. This subject is the
first of many that shall be open for debate.
Katherine Coventry: She just looks around,
not seeming inclined to really say anything on the subject as she sits there and
sighs a little once more. Looking about perhaps to gauge the crowd and how they
seem to be feeling on this but her own feelings guarded.
Corinne Braddock: She raises her eyebrow,
and leans forward just a bit. "I would say that I am in support of it, in a
general fashion. I have dreamers, after all, and I would not have them become
prey to the Prodigals."
Fangwulf: *The first to
speak seems the Balor, who raps his knuckles on the table.* As speaker for those
of the Warriors against the Dark, *he growls, his voice gritty, monstrous. As if
he challenges anyone to speak of his people.* I say no. We do not need this
additional protection. Those involved are not all our allies, nor were they ever
meant to be.
Fangwulf: *Well... the
second to speak, anyway.*
Morgan Beaumaris: Morgan stays very quiet,
listening and keeping any of her feelings to herself right now.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine just watches
and listens dispassionately.
Corinne Braddock: She smiles to the Balor.
"We are not all warriors, Sir. And while I have no doubt that you would acquit
yourself admirably in such a contest, I cannot claim to be sure of the same,
personally. Nor would those I rely upon."
Moira Connolly: "what is the exact terms
of the treaty, and what can we have that can be of use to us beside some extra
protection?"
Fangwulf: *The Unknown finishes off his tea, and then stands. His voice is clipped, British, as always.* It seems a shady business deal, aligned on their end moreso on ours. They would know of us. And our benefit, as always, is secrecy. This... Treaty would only benefit the Commoners. However. *He looks up, and sharply.* If we tell them this, we may control the flow of information to our benefit, share our powers in ways that may create rumours. Beliefs. The lie spread to further our legend. In that, we can reap the rewards. *He takes another seat, and looks to a boggan.* Are you quite a dolt? My tea should have been refilled before I sat down.
Fangwulf: *Alsun
nods to Moira.* An excellent point. So far, the control of the Treaty seems in
the hands of the Concerto, an upscale club. The terms seem... reasonable enough.
Do not prey, which we do not. And if we are preyed upon, the balance will be
maintained.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine turns her eyes
to each person as they speak. A hint of a smirk though as she hears from the
Unknown finally but she still just continues to sit and listen.
Corinne Braddock: She quirks a brow,
listening to the unknown, and leans back to consider it. A slight nod when Alsun
briefly explains the Treaty.
Moira Connolly: "and what is their
defention of Preying...sorry about my many questions. "
Fangwulf: *She smiles
briefly.* I am afraid I do not know the whole of it. I have not seen all the
words, to the letter as of yet. Though from what my sources have heard, It is
when one uses their... skills on us. Mortals are not involved. I would have to
ask if our Dreamers would be covered. *She looks back to Corinne.* But I would
have to assume so to get involved.
Corinne Braddock: She nods a little and
raises a hand to her lips, considering. "The involvement of Dreamers would be a
crucial point, I think. One that, if we do as a group decide to get involved, we
should push for."
Katherine Coventry: Katherine actually sighs
some and just shakes her head slightly before finally looking to Morgane and
just shrugs slightly.
Morgan Beaumaris: She shrugs a little back
to Katherine, about the only reaction she shows.
Moira Connolly: "well are we to assume
that we know who is who, accdent do happen. Unless they have some little
chimerial Hello do not prey on me sign on them do they?" she grins slightly.
Fangwulf: *She chuckles
at Moira's comment.* No, I do not believe they do. However... we can assume that
should there be action, we are allowed to defend ourself. As our enemies
coincide with some, we will interact with others. We have no choice in this
matter.
Corinne Braddock: "An excellent question,
Lady." She nods to Moira, pausing a moment as she sees Katherine and Morgan's
reactions, before looking back to Moira. "One that could also bear to be
clarified."
Corinne Braddock: "Lady Katherine..." She
looks to the woman nearby, giving a charming smile. "What do you think on the
matter?"
Katherine Coventry: Katherine looks back
over towards Corinne and shrugs slightly. "There are too many unknowns when it
comes to this Treaty and what it entails. It will also take far more then a
single night to decide. We are not being hunted and revealing more of ourselves
to the Treaty members is a risk I do not feel is in our best interests." she
says confidently.
"Our Dreamers are not their buisness either. Glamor is free after all and how do
we expect them to be protected? Those of our blood? Perhaps but it is still too
risky to reveal too much about ourselves. I do admit though that I am curious
about the Prodigels, I for one do not see any of them as equals that we should
be meeting them at a table to seek protection from then and them from us. What
else is there to discuss this evening?" she asks looking towards Alsun.
Fangwulf: *Ahhyes.
Attention brought. Alsun looks to Katherine and Morgan pleasantly. The Unknown
does not look, but he does smile, sipping his tea.*
Fangwulf: *Alsun merely
smiles.* This topic is not a dead one yet, Lady Katherine. I will send someone
to investigate this Treaty with more completion and will have details within a
week's time.
Katherine Coventry: "I never suggesed
that it was a dead topic, just not one to be fully addressed now. Before we can
fully discuss it all the facts should have been brought before us." she says
flatly to Alsun with a steady gaze.
Fangwulf: *Alsun's eyes
do not waver from Katherine's, nor does she cease smiling.* You had implied it,
Lady Katherine. By your words of switching to another topic. If, by all means,
you wish to control this discussion...
Corinne Braddock: She nods a little,
smiling. "Some excellent points, Lady Katherine. We can discuss it more in-depth
later, perhaps, when we have the necessary details." When Katherine and Alsun
start conversing, she falls silent, listening to the two.
Katherine Coventry: "I merely asked a
question so that we might know if there would be something more fruitful to
discuss. I can see though how you would make such a mistake." and she smiles
slightly back to the woman.
Fangwulf: Mistake? *She
arches an eyebrow.* I never make a mistake. And I never misunderstand ambition
for anything else. *She looks away from Katherine.* Any other questions?
Morgan Beaumaris: ((I'm sorry...I'm wiped
out....I'm not sure of a good way to take Morgan out without looking bad. So
since she's been so silent, just assume she listens quietly, maybe just fades
out thinking of some new song she's composing and leaves with Katherine.))
Katherine Coventry: Katherine chuckles
slightly actually and just shakes her head before looking to the Unknown and
then around to the others at the gathering.
Fangwulf: *The Unknown
simply smiles, and sips at his tea. Not interrupting. No one else seems to
speak, as the small power outburst seems to have them quiet. Even the Balor.*
Moira Connolly: Moira watch like one would
a teniss match.
Fangwulf: ((S'okay Uk.
Sorry it went so late.))
Corinne Braddock: She leans forward,
smiling a bit and and looking between the two. Peace-making. "I am ready to
progress." Said in a way to give Katherine an out from actually responding,
without actually speaking for her.
Katherine Coventry: Katherine doesn't seem
inclined to say anything else as she goes back to waiting once more.
Fangwulf: *Alsun nods,
but her mood seems somewhat diminished.* I belive we are finished for this
night. Alliance was the true cause of this meeting. And the question of such. I
shall discuss this with my eyes, and I will spread qord as soon as I know better
what is in store for us.
Fangwulf: (qord-word)
Katherine Coventry: She looks to Alsun once
more and just shrugs her shoulders as she stands up. "How enlightening." she
says to no one in particular.
Moira Connolly: "thank you for the
information" she says politely a glance to the Balor curious, but information
would have to wait for another time she guesses.
Corinne Braddock: She nods politely to
Alsun and then prepares to rise, once Alsun has. She who holds the meeting rises
first.
Fangwulf: *The Balor
actually stands first, and he seems... quite annoyed. That he can't hide. He
takes slow strides towards the front door, and slams it behind him.* *Alsun
herself moves towards the door behind, and she seems thoughtful. The Unknown
himself finishes off his tea, and taps the side of his glass. He seems to be
waiting until everyone leaves.*
Moira Connolly: She nods to the unknown.
Fangwulf: *He does not
seem to note anyone. He focuses on his tea.*
Katherine Coventry: The Knight turns on her
heel and moves towards the foor finally after giving others a chance to move on.
She doesn't seem preturbed or anything, but perhaps a hint of ammusement when
she does start towards the door with Morgan in tow.
Corinne Braddock: She rises finally now,
giving a nod to the Unknown, even if it is not returned. A smile to Katherine,
and one to Moira.
Fangwulf: ((A'ight, now
I'm gonna go collapse. thanks so much! An Ash, thank Uktena for showing!))
Moira Connolly: ((thank you for running
Fang))
Corinne Braddock: ((Night, Fang! Thanks
for the scene! *Hugs*))
Moira Connolly: ((*pops into the ooc*))
Katherine Coventry: (will do)
Katherine Coventry: Katherine gets out side,
glances around before making her way towards her car. Nodding to Corinne once
more and even smiling a touch to the woman on the way.
Corinne Braddock: She smiles to Katherine
as she slips outside. "Well, I would say my previous statement was accurate.
This was interesting."
Katherine Coventry: "Yes, it was." she
says in agreement with Corinne.
Corinne Braddock: A light sigh.
"Well...that aside, how have you been?" She smiles, making some small talk
before her own car arrives.
Katherine Coventry: "Well enough." she says,
then looks to Morgane. "I hope things conitnue to go well for you but I should
be going." and she smiles a little again.
Corinne Braddock: "Of course," she says
with a smile and nod. "I hope to see you again. It was too long, this time. Have
an excellent evening."
Katherine Coventry: "Thank you, and till
next time we meet." and then after a final look back to the freehold she gets in
her car and leaves out with Morgan. ((Take care!)
Corinne Braddock: ((You too!))
