Cameo O'Brocki: Cameo meanders into the
place, sticking near the door for a moment to look around for someone. Looking..
out of her element a bit. She wears a long patchwork dress and a thick cordoroy
coat that nearly reaches her knees. Her hair is down, falling dreadfully
straight against her skinny back.
Christian Gallagher: Christian's already
sitting at the bar, watching a game go on. The T-Shirt today reads "If I have to
find Jesus...does that mean he's hiding?" with a nice little corrosponding image
in-between the words (( http://www.tshirthell.com/store/product.php?productid=723
)). The usual leather jacket and jeans complete the emsemble.
Talaitha Borodin: Taliatha stands 5'9",
has long dark brunette hair that falls about waist length and typically is
windblown, giving a slight wild look to her. With a dark exotic complexion, her
blue eyes are quite distinctive, though sometimes have a far away look in them.
Certainly beautiful, she knows it and does not look to be at all in her
mid-twenties, but more in her early twenties. She's dressed quite simply in a
blue sweater with a thin silver chain mail belt cinched around her shapely
waist, black leather pants, plus black ankle boots. She is already at a table
with several other playing pool, though she doesn't look to really be playing
pool as much as she is flirting it up with the guys and girls at the table.

Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: Moira walked
into the pool hall sheding her long lady's trench reavealing her black and
violet seemed low slung long skirt with a stitched waistband that laces down the
front to the sides. she was also wearing the matching corset top with a lace
over shirt. she gives a glance about for Cameo.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: (( the
outfit))
Cameo O'Brocki: Cameo fidgets a bit, stuffing
her hands in her pockets. Waiting quietly near the door.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: (( http://www.redemptionklothing.com/Details/Lip%20Service/83-70.htm))
Christian Gallagher: He looks up as the
various people walk in, giving them once-overs and offering smiles to each one
in turn. ((Smack me if anyone needs a DD; Fame 1 as a DJ, also. DJ Halcyon.))
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She slips up
behind Cameo and stands there as moment before speaking close to her "have you
picked out a table yet?"
Cameo O'Brocki: Cameo keeps her eyes down.
Still leery about making eye contact with the natives.
Cameo O'Brocki: She blinks up to Moira. "I..
no. No, I haven't." She pauses. "You're on table duty. Because this was ~your~
idea."
Talaitha Borodin: She rubs up against one
of the guys at her pool table who's almost ready to take a shot. Leaning up to
whisper in his ear, she offers him some advice on his shot, while trying to also
pick his pocket.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She glances
about grinning "have you ever played billards before?"
Talaitha Borodin:
d10: dex/subt: 4,7,6,5,6,7,8,9,
Cameo O'Brocki: She doesn't change expression.
Surprise surprise. "I.. think I read a book about it.. once.."
Christian Gallagher:
d10: Per+Alert: 7,1,1,7,4,5,
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "Well first
time once again" she grins "seems i'm giving you a lot of firsts" she looks and
gestures to one of the tables closer to the bar "how about that one?"
Talaitha Borodin: And well, the guy's
pretty oblivious to what her hands are truly doing as she rubs one hand along
his crotch; ooooh so distracting indeed, while the other one expertly slides
into a back pocket and grabbing a wallet with ease. A slight bump with her hip
against his butt and the dirty deed done, she moves away as he goes for his shot
and she blows him a kiss as she makes her way to the bar.
Christian Gallagher: He completely misses
Talaitha's lift, having glanced over to Cameo and Moira for a moment as he sips
his beer.
Cameo O'Brocki: She shrugs and follows.
"Does.. it make a difference, really?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "closer to the
drinks and snacks" she shrugs "you asked me to pick anyways, let me to go
reserve it i'll meet you over there ok?"
Cameo O'Brocki: "Umm... okay." She mumbles,
moving over to the table she'd pointed out. Keeping her eyes down.
Talaitha Borodin: Once at the bar, she
simply orders a Coke, glancing around her surroundings.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She sways over
to the counter leaning against it awaiting for her turn to reserve a table. she
reached into her top to pull out an ID to leave as colateral. she winks to them
men at the bar before turning to make it towards the table she directed Cameo
to.
Christian Gallagher: He looks away from Moira
and Cameo, back to Talaitha, and offers her a pleasant, greeting smile. "Hello."
Cameo O'Brocki: Cameo shrugs out of her coat,
laying it over a stool. She fidgets a bit, quietly waiting for moira.
Talaitha Borodin:
d10: per/alert: 6,9,9,5,3,
Talaitha Borodin: She smiles to Christian
when he greets her. "Hello there. Don't I know you from someplace?" she asks as
she considers his familiarity.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: when she gets
back to the table she places the balls she recived down "ready to learn?" she
glances to Cameo.
Talaitha Borodin: She has a faint British
accent when she talks.
Cameo O'Brocki: "Always." She says frankly,
looking down to the balls. "How hard can it be?"
Christian Gallagher: He smiles a little bit,
humbly, and nods. "Maybe. I DJ a lot...at the Limelight Club, these days.
Christian Gallagher. A pleasure." He extends a hand to her.
Talaitha Borodin: She snaps her
fingers. "That's it. DJ Halcyon right?" Then takes his hand and shakes firmly.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Talaitha."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "depends on
the person, some harder than other" she shrugs as she sets up the rack as she
was taught "when breaking you want to push the pole from the back so you don't
have to put as much effort and use your other hand as a brace to angle" she
shows her "i'm not the best but this is sometime skill and sometimes luck" she
looks up to her "wouldyou like to try at breaking?"
Christian Gallagher: "That's me." He grins a
bit, shaking her hand. "A pleasure, Talaitha. That's a beautiful name. And I
promise, that's not a pickup line."
Cameo O'Brocki: She looks down to the
table. "Umm.. can if you want. I'm not promising anything." She reaches over to
arm herself with a cue, then takes a second to look at a man taking a shot at
another table. Mimicing his stance.
Talaitha Borodin: She grins mischievously
when he says that. "Why thank you....though who said I minded if it was or not?"
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: dex+ath: 9,8,3,4,
Christian Gallagher: He chuckles a little bit
at that, looking down briefly. "Well...much as I appreciate the notion, I'm
happily in a relationship at the moment." He takes a sip of his beer, then looks
back to her. "So what's the origin of it, if I can ask?"
Talaitha Borodin: "There's nothing wrong
in a little flirting now is there?" she poses. "It's Romanian, though believed
to be a variant of the Aramaic Talitha, meaning 'little girl.'"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: SHe looks at
the breack "good shot, i think you got a striped ball into a pocket, which by
the rules mean you get another shot"
Christian Gallagher: He grins. "No, nothing
wrong with a little flirting at all." He nods when she gives the etymology of
the name, seeming sincerely interested. "Romanian. That's cool...family name?"
Cameo O'Brocki: She quirks a brow, looking the
table over. "Ooooookay. So just.. knock the balls in the holes, then? Reminds me
of golf.. but without the walking."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "yes and
bigger stick with powder to boot" she shrugs.
Cameo O'Brocki: She lines up another shot,
aiming for a solid since it's the closest one she sees. Not knowing any better,
really.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 3,7,6,6,
Talaitha Borodin: "Thank you. I was never
quite aware if there was a relative I was named after though. It hadn't come
up," she smiles, sipping her Coke.
Christian Gallagher: He nods to that. "Got
you. According to my mother, I was named after her first boyfriend...was
supposed to be my godfather or something. Never met him, though. He moved away
to Nebraska when I was, like, six months old or something like that, sick of the
whole New York thing." He smiles a little bit and shrugs. "Don't know quite what
that's supposed to mean, but it makes for an interesting small talk story at
least."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She nods
her head "you go again"
Talaitha Borodin: She laughs softly. "It
certainly makes for a good ice breaker if nothing else. Do you still see your
mother?"
Cameo O'Brocki: The solid slowly but surely
rolls into the side pocket. Cameo looks up to Moira, face blank. "Umm.. So I
just keep.. making the balls go in? Do the numbers mean anything? Is there
like.. a point system involved?" She leans over, taking a shot at a stripe this
time. "I just.. don't see the point."
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 8,9,8,6,
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "well you
don't want to accdent knock the eight ball or cue ball into a pocket"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She blinks
"sure you've never played before?" she grin.
Christian Gallagher: "Not really." He shakes
his head. "We...aren't that close anymore, I'm afraid. She waitresses still at a
nightclub in Staten Island, and I do my stuff in Manhattan."
Cameo O'Brocki: She quirks a brow, looking the
balls over. "So.. the black and white balls are segregated from the happy
colored pocket seeking balls? I don't know how ethically sound this game is.. No
wonder everyone here is drinking." She takes another shot. At a solid again.
Just to mix things up.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 4,8,7,1,
Talaitha Borodin: She looks like she might
say something, but thinks better of it, and smiles. "I see, nodding."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "well you
supposed to aim for the same type of ball you first got in , so if you hit a
strip then you continue to hit stripe, since this you first game i'm letting you
just get practice in" she grins.
Cameo O'Brocki: She blinks when the solid
rolls in. "Really? Shit.. you could have mentioned that like.. ninety balls
ago." She looks over the table. "Here I was trying to keep everything all..
symmetric. What do I do now?"
Christian Gallagher: He smiles a little
bit. "What about you? Do your parents live here, or are they--forgive my
ignorance, but I'm assuming by your accent you're not a native--overseas?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She grins "
hit the rest in and then we re rack and really play"
Cameo O'Brocki: She purses her lips. "I don't
know if I'm comfortable letting you watch me play with myself." She leans over
to clear the table. Adding as an afterthought. "Not a word.."
Talaitha Borodin: "They were murdered when
I was seven. Along with my brother. You don't have to wince or say how sorry you
are really, there are regrets of course that I still have especially with my
brother, but that was a long time ago and my life has been rich for the
experiences I've had because of my loss," she smiles.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She just grins
watching her shoot letting the silence speak for itself.
Cameo O'Brocki: As quickly as she can, she
clears the table. When she's done, she props the cue up against the table. "I..
need beer. You want anything?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "yeah a
shirley temple if you don't mind."
Christian Gallagher: He nods a little bit.
"Fair enough. That's a really good perspective you have on it...I can kind of
relate, as a matter of fact, though not in the same way. My father was NYPD.
Killed on duty when I was four."
Cameo O'Brocki: She nods and looks moira over.
"Right.. same rules apply. You get me in trouble.. and.. I'll.. I'll.. read you
terrible poetry until you convulse. Or something." She moves off to the bar.
Talaitha Borodin: "Do you remember much
about him? Or is it more what your mother has related to you?"
Christian Gallagher: "I don't remember much,
no." He raises his hand for another beer, then looks back to her, withdrawing a
pack of Camel Wides. "More what my brother and mother told me about him. It
really affected them a lot worse then it did me."
Cameo O'Brocki: She slips up to the bar,
next to Christain and Talaitha to quietly order a shirley temple and a longneck
domestic.
Christian Gallagher: He looks over to Cameo
and smiles at her amiably, nodding.
Talaitha Borodin: "Is your brother older?"
she asks, taking another long sip of her own drink.
Cameo O'Brocki: She catches Christain's eye
before looking back down. Pushing a bit of hair behind her ear. She figets, and
pays for her drinks.
Christian Gallagher: "Four years older,
yeah." He nods a little bit, packing the cigarettes against the heel of his
palm. "He took the whole thing pretty hard."
Talaitha Borodin: "That made him around
eight?" she asks, doing the simple math. "I can understand ...."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: Moira watches
from the table moving the balls into place as she wait humming a little to the
music being played in the background.
Cameo O'Brocki: She keeps to herself. Grabbing
the two drinks quietly before stepping back from the bar.
Christian Gallagher: "Evening," he says to
Cameo, before looking back to Talaitha. "Yeah. Kind of turned me the good kid by
default."
Cameo O'Brocki: "Hey.." She mumbles in
passing to Christain, taking the few steps it takes to get back to their table.
(they were right next to the bar, right?) She hands Moira her drink.
Talaitha Borodin: "I always preferred to
be a black sheep," she grins mischievously, nodding to Cameo. "You like being
the good one? Or get bored by it sometimes?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: (yes) She
takes the drink with a smile as she slips the straw into her mouth.
Cameo O'Brocki: She quirks a brow to Talaitha.
"Uhh.. excuse me?" she asks dryly.
Talaitha Borodin: "I was talking to
Christian, miss."
Christian Gallagher: "Well...to be fair, it
would be pretty hard for me not to be the good one at this point." He gives a
small smile. "Adam did some pretty fucked-up things, forgive the French."
Cameo O'Brocki: She blinks a bit and shakes
her head, looking back to the table. She hands the cue to Moira. "You go first
this time."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she nods her
head"ok" she leans over after placing her drink down to place to cue ball
grabbing her chosen stick and pulls back to break.
Talaitha Borodin: "Oh, nothing my ears
haven't heard before. No worries," she laughs softly, watching Cameo and
shrugging a little.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:
d10: ath+dex: 4,5,9,8,4,
Cameo O'Brocki: She drinks her beer, watching
Moira in action. Keeping her eyes fixed to the table.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "looks like
i'm stipes, so when your turn comes up you hit only solids" she grins as she
walks about the table looking to see what would be the better shot.
Christian Gallagher: He smiles a bit and
nods, finally putting the Camel in his mouth and lighting it up. "So what do you
do?"
Cameo O'Brocki: She nods. "Got it. So.. what
keeps you from hitting them all in on the first turn?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "hmm? what so
you mean?" she picks to hit the yellow stripe ball in her body bending to get
the angle she wants as she tries again.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:
d10: ath+dex: 6,9,4,3,8,
Cameo O'Brocki: She shrugs, sipping the beer.
"I mean.. if you keep hitting balls in.. it's still your turn, right? Until you
win. Seems easy enough. I don't understand what's so hard about this game."
Talaitha Borodin: "I am a
parapsychologist. Kinda like the John Edwards guy you could say. Ghost busters,"
she grins.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "sometimes you
accdently hit an unwanted ball" she aim for a bank shot which is pretty tricky.
"and then there are shots you try to challenge yourself.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:
d10: ath+dex: 7,4,7,9,2,
Christian Gallagher: "Ahh." He nods a little
bit, grinning. "That's cool. You're in the right place for it, if Hollywood is
any indication." He winks a little bit, chuckling. "Seriously, though, that's
cool. Do you have a lot of success with it?"
Talaitha Borodin: "Sometimes. It's
certainly not like your average 9-5 job. And I'm still learning a lot about it
and kinda the baby among the others I work with, but I enjoy the work," she
smiles.
Cameo O'Brocki: She watches, leaning absently
back against a stool. "You're pretty good at this." She sips her beer.
Christian Gallagher: "Here here on
avoiding 9-to-5'ers." He grins and raises his beer in a toast. "It's great that
you enjoy the work. That's important."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:
d10: ath+dex: 5,6,2,10,8,
Talaitha Borodin: She raises her almost
empty glass of Coke and touches it against his beer glass. "Cheers."
Cameo O'Brocki: She gives an absently look
around the place. Bored, it would seem. "You.. do this often?"
Christian Gallagher: He smiles and takes a
swig off the Weinhard's before setting it down. "So, any good stories from your
work?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She shakes her
head "classes get in the way " she takes another shot.
Talaitha Borodin: "Nothing recently. Been
boring. You? Any great DJ stories?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:
d10: ath+dex: 5,7,5,8,9,
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "oops i got
one of yours in" maybe it was an accdent or it was on purpose one a solid falls
in.
Cameo O'Brocki: She nods, still drinking her
beer. Half paying attention.
Cameo O'Brocki: She looks down to the table.
"You sure?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she nods her
head "yep your turn"
Christian Gallagher: "Great DJ stories?" He
grins a little bit. "Naah, pretty boring. I think the most exciting thing that's
happened in my life in the last six months or so is decking a guy in the
Limelight for pushing me a little too far, and actually walking away intact. I
swear I'm not a violent person--that's about the only punch I've thrown in my
life--but I guess it's excitement."
Cameo O'Brocki: She takes the cue and looks
over the table. Taking the simplest shot she can find at a solid. Quiet.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 8,8,9,4,
Talaitha Borodin: "I'm not too violent
myself. I can understand. I've dealt with a lot of it....since I was a little
girl. As satisfying as it can be to stand up for yourself at times, it is not
always easy to do. Sounds like that was a definitely bright spot for you."
Cameo O'Brocki: She moves around to the next.
Still quiet. Concentrating, it would appear.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 6,8,6,8,
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "good shot,
try a bank shot those are fun" she grins.
Christian Gallagher: He chuckles and nods.
"Yeah. I don't get in fights--like, ever--but much as I hate to admit it, it
felt good. Though I was actually standing up for my significant other more then
myself."
Cameo O'Brocki: She quirks a brow. "Umm.. if
it comes up, maybe." She tries for the easiest shot she can find.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 8,2,7,2,
Talaitha Borodin: "Standing up for loved
ones certainly can sweeten the pot too," she grins.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "bah come on a
harder Shot, you know you can do it....or are you afraid you'll make the ball
fly off and knock someoneout"
Cameo O'Brocki: "I.. think I'd have to
actually hit it hard for that to happen. It's been a while since I took physics,
though.. I'm a bit rusty." She lines up a bank shot. To appease the competition.
Christian Gallagher: He returns the grin and
nods. "Believe me, it did. Though I was lucky, to be honest...the guy didn't
swing back."
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 2,7,3,6,
Talaitha Borodin: "Very lucky indeed," she
nods.
Cameo O'Brocki: (30 min or so warning)
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she points
another tricky shot "you make this shot in and i'll make out with you" she grins
curious more to see what she'll do and if she actually try.
Cameo O'Brocki: She blinks a bit, looking the
shot over. "What? Why?"
Talaitha Borodin: "Was your loved one
there at the time?" she wonders as an afterthought.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "cause its a
hard one" she grins "i wanna see you challenge yourself"
Cameo O'Brocki: "Then challenge me.. or
whatever. I don't see what that has to do with making out. Hell, I'm only on my
first beer, woman." She leans in to take the shot.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 9,10,4,9,
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She laughs a
little " what wrong with making out if on your first beef?"
Christian Gallagher: "Yeah. All worked out,
though." He takes a drag off his cigarette, exhaling the smoke behind him, away
from Talaitha. "But enough about my club brawls, as exciting as they may be.
What brings you to a pool hall tonight? Just out for the atmosphere?"
Cameo O'Brocki: She purses her lips. Going
quiet. Moving to her next shot. Ignoring Moira for the time being.
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: : 8,9,10,5,
Talaitha Borodin: "I like being around
people. And since I'm still a little new here, I like to try and blend in so I
don't stick out like a sore thumb. There are advantages of blending in too," a
mischievous little grin forming at the corners of her lips.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she pouts a
little "not going to tell me?"
Cameo O'Brocki: "You're just trying to
distract me. It won't work." She says blandly. She looks up from the table. "The
black one's the only solid left. You told me not to hit that one."
Christian Gallagher: "Oh, no argument there."
He chuckles a little bit. "Sticking out is not something that you want to do in
this town. What advantages are you looking for by blending?"
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "well when its
the only one left then you try to hit it but you have to call the pocket it goes
into...so eight ball corner pocket is an example. if you scratch meaning getting
the cuebal inn you loose, if you get it in the wrong pocket you looose. if you
get it in you win. If you miss its my turn"
Cameo O'Brocki: She pauses, looking over the
table. "Your balls are in my way. Can I move them?"
Talaitha Borodin: "Not looking like a
tourist. I think it's partially my survival instincts too that kick in. Being an
orphan certainly had it's influence on me."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "nope you have
to hit around them"
Cameo O'Brocki: She purses her lips again.
Lining up a shot as best she can. She points to a pocket. "Mmmm... that one."
Cameo O'Brocki:
d10: wp: 9,5,4,1,
Christian Gallagher: "Understandable," he
says with a nod, leaning against the bar. "I can totally get that."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "you Win how
that you've won what are your plans?" she finishes her drink.
Talaitha Borodin: "You been watching that
table over there?" she motions with her shoulder toward the table where Cameo
and Moira are playing.
Christian Gallagher: "Have been, on and off,"
he says with a nod.
Cameo O'Brocki: She props the cue against the
table again. Reaching over to pluck up her beer again. "Uhh.. hadn't really
thought about it. Probably just go back and sit around my apartment until I fall
asleep. Maybe smoke a bowl and pump out some more crappy poetry. The usual."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "so when are
you gunna go shopping to play dress up?" she tilts her head.
Talaitha Borodin: She leans in to whisper
to Christian.
Cameo O'Brocki: "I don't do a lot of
shopping." She says dryly, putting back the rest of her beer.
Christian Gallagher: He leans in to catch the
whisper, curious.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "yeah but it
doesn't answer my question" she streaches a little.
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"Is it just me, or is that one in black seriously
desperate for a little one on one time with the one with the stick up her ass?"
Cameo O'Brocki: "Maybe you should look into a
rewrite.. I'm not sure I'm following. If you're waiting on me to go out and doll
myself up.. you'll be waiting for a long.. long time." She moves over to order
another beer.
Christian Gallagher: He smiles a little and
murmurs quietly back.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "you never
know" she grins.
Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin: "Yeeaaah.
I've seen the one in black around the Limelight a few times...this is nothing
new to her." Something not altogether warm about that. "The other, I have no
clue. Just seems more like a wallflower. Miss Black is probably out for
conquest, my guess."
Cameo O'Brocki: She looks away from Moira,
down to the surface of the bar. Pulling her money out and waiting for her beer.
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"I'll have to keep my out on the lady in black. I could have fun with her
sometime in my own way."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "anyways, next
time you get to pick the outtting" she glances about.
Christian Gallagher: He smirks a little and
nods to Talaitha.
Cameo O'Brocki: She takes up her beer and
takes a loooooong swig. Looking back down to the surface of the bar. "Uhh..
okay. If that's what you really want."
Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin: "She
could really use a taste of her own medicine."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "whats the
worst that could happen?"
Christian Gallagher: He actually does look
over at Moira when he hears that, and shakes his head, picking up his beer to
take a drink.
Talaitha Borodin: "Am I keeping you from
your girlfriend and or boyfriend or both?" she winks.
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"She'd be too easy a target...." she whispers again.
Cameo O'Brocki: She shrugs. "Depends on how
much you enjoy spending hours at a time in your local library. Be careful. I
hear nerd is contagious." She takes another drink from her beer.
Christian Gallagher: He looks over at
Talaitha and chuckles a bit. "Just the one. Her name's Sha-Sha. And no, she was
out tonight. Something about teaching a friend how to ride motorcycles"
Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin:
"Yeah, I'd imagine so. I doubt she's particularly safe, either. Know the type."
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"Quite likely. Though it makes for some good entertainment."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: "well it
depends of what part of the library" she tilts her head "don't they close
early?"
Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin:
"Yeah. I just hope that the other doesn't make a bad decision she'll regret for
the rest of her life."
Cameo O'Brocki: "Depends on what you consider
early." She downs most of the rest of her beer. "Speaking of early.. If I don't
get going soon, I'm going to sleep right through my seven thirty lecture. Was
fun hanging out.."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She nods her
head "give me a call" she moves to pick up her balls putting them on the tray.
Talaitha Borodin: "Sounds fun. The
motorcycle riding I mean," she grins to him.
Cameo O'Brocki: She nods and downs her beer
before moving off from the bar. "Yeah.. I'll call ya. G'night." She slips into
her coat on the way to the door.
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"Doesn't seem inclined to. I think in part ignorance is bliss in her case."
Cameo O'Brocki: (thanks guys. hafta get some
shleeps.)
Christian Gallagher: He grins and nods.
"Yeah. She scared the shit out of me the first time I rode with her. I'm almost
relaxed when she does it now...girl drives like a bat out of Hell."
Christian Gallagher: ((Thanks! *Hugs*))
Talaitha Borodin: "Bet it's nice for
holding on though," winking.
Talaitha Borodin: ((sleep well. good
night!))
Christian Gallagher: He nods to Talaitha at
something, watching Cameo go.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: (night Scar
thanks for the rp))
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She brings the
balls back to the counter to return reaching into her shirt for the money to pay
for the time on the table.
Christian Gallagher: "Oh, yeah..." He
chuckles a little, looking down and shrugging. "That's nice."
Talaitha Borodin: She watches him, tilting
her head slightly. "SOmething the matter?"

Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin: He's
just a little bit embarassed. There's a touch of uncomfortability around the
topic of sex in general, and specifically relating to Sha-Sha.
Christian Gallagher: "No, it's fine," he says
with a shake of his head. He picks up the beer bottle for a swig.
Talaitha Borodin: She leans in and
whispers.
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
"My apologies. I was not meaning anything really more than just being close with
your girlfriend. Sex was the furthest thing from my mind."
Christian Gallagher: He mumurs back to her,
glancing up to Moira and watching her as he does.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: After paying
she grabs her coat and makes her way towards the door.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]:

Christian Gallagher -> Talaitha Borodin: "No
need...really. It was purely my reaction, and had nothing to do with you. No
harm done, I promise."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she catches a
few glances her eyes landing on Chris waving to him as since he is still
watching her.
Talaitha Borodin: She follows
Christian's gaze and smiles to Moira.
Christian Gallagher: He gives Moira a small
nods as she heads toward the door in acknowledgement.
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: she also give
Talaitha a nod taking amoment to drink in her form with a saucy smile.
Talaitha Borodin: "Either way," she says
quietly to him, "I did not wish to make you uncomfortable." Still smiling warmly
to Moira.
Christian Gallagher: "Don't worry about it,"
he says with a smile. A beeper at his belt goes off and he hits it in an
automatic, practically unconscious gesture before reaching into his jacket
pocket. A small frown forms on his face. "Shit. Um...I hate to break this up,
but I kind of have to go. Left something at home."
Talaitha Borodin: She grins to him. "No
worries. I should get to bed. Work comes early."
Christian Gallagher: He smiles and nods a
bit. "Cool. Well...if you ever want to hang out, you can usually find me at the
Limelight. Stop by sometimes...I'll even do requests, on occasion."
Talaitha Borodin: "I'll be sure to catch
you then. If you ever want to just talk or whatever...." she digs out a card
from her pocket and gives it to him. "You can reach me this way."
Moira Connolly [Pool Hall]: She turns and
slips out and hails a cab home stifling a yawn. ((thanks for the rp guys :) ))
Talaitha Borodin -> Christian Gallagher:
The card is for the American Society for Psychical Research with her name
Talaitha Borodin, phone numbers and email.
Christian Gallagher: He takes the card and
smiles. "Thanks...it's been a real pleasure meeting you." He hands over his
professional card as well...listing him as DJ Halcyon, with a cell, fax, and
email on it. "Good night, Talaitha." He smiles and pays his bill, then makes his
way for the door. ((Thanks, guys!))
Talaitha Borodin: ((Thank you too!))
Talaitha Borodin: She smiles to him, happily taking his card too. Talaitha finishes the little bit of her own drink and pays for it as well as tips well before heading out a few minutes after Christian.
