Andy Gallo: cool. andy knows where the house is, cause kelsey gave him the adress. he's been there once, but didn't actually go IN the house. He'd show up late, 11pmish

Aerin Thomas: Cool. *Nods* Aerin goes to the door when Andy comes up, checking the peephole before letting him in. He's dressed in the usual garb as of late...tank top with "Don't Hunt What You Can't Kill," jeans, and his boots. He smiles when he sees Andy. "Hey.:"

Andy Gallo: The boy still looks a bit rattled. Nervous, and wary. He looks behind Aerin, half expecting to get jumped by an angry Kelsey for showing up here. "Uh.. hey. I.. I didn't mean to just.. drop in.. or whatever.."

Aerin Thomas: He frowns, concern taking hold. "Not at all. It's fine...come in. You all right?"

Andy Gallo: He scratches the back of his head, not stepping in just yet. "Uhh.. I could lie.. if you want. Kelsey's not like.. behind you.. is she?"

Aerin Thomas: "No, she's not." He shakes his head. "I think she's out tonight. Why, what happened?"

Andy Gallo: He steps in quietly, a wary look around just in case. Not that he thinks Aerin would lie to him.. but.. big angry wolf chick. Not what he needs right now. "What.. with kelsey? Just a bunch of bullshit. But.. I.. uhh.. I did something Aerin. And.. it's been fucking with my head pretty good. I don't have a lot of people I can talk to.. There's Uadjit.. but.." He squints. "She's.. not playing with a full deck, I don't think."

Aerin Thomas: He shuts the door and nods, moving for the kitchen. "Okay. Well, come on. I'll fix you a drink...you look like you could use it."

Andy Gallo: He nods and follows. Speaking quietly. Afterall he doesn't know how many people live here. No telling with this guy. "That's.. cool. Thanks." He follows quietly for a minute before starting. "So.. there was this guy, right. That has been fucking with brice for the past few years. Used to be some kind of cop before he got kicked out.. or whatever happens to shitty cops."

Aerin Thomas: He frowns a little. "Sounds like a winner already." A couple of glasses are brought down, and the 18-year Chivas Regal. He fills both glasses and hands one over. "All right, I'm with you so far."

Andy Gallo: He takes the glass gladly, an appreciative nod cast to the other man. He takes a long sip before continuing. "Two weeks ago.. she ran into him again. The asshole ran up behind her and beat her with a two by four in the stomach. Put her in the hospital for a couple of days.." He trails off, looking down to the liquid in his glass. "They.. said the baby would probably be fine. But that doesn't make it alright."

Aerin Thomas: He winces. "Oh, Jesus."

Andy Gallo: He nods, taking another long drink from his glass. Keeping his eyes down from the man. "I just.. I was so pissed. I wanted to find out what he looked like.. so that if I saw him come around brice.. I could do something about it."

Aerin Thomas: "All right..." He nods, listening. Worried as to where this is going, but not openly showing that. "And what happened?"

Andy Gallo: He takes another drink. "I.. I saw him leaving his apartment. Curiosity kicked in and I broke into his place. Just.. getting a feel for the asshole." He shifts his weight. "I wanted to hit him. I'm not a fighter.. but I wanted to be. After I did.. I couldn't stop." He keeps his eyes down, still. Ashamed of what he'd done. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the newspaper article for Aerin, the one of Brooks' death. "Fifty thousand fucking dollars, Aerin. I've never been worth more than a buck fifty on a good day. People are gonna come looking for me.. aren't they?"

Aerin Thomas: His lips purse, and he runs a hand through his hair. "Shit." He looks over the article, reading quickly...he'd seen it before, but he wants to refresh his memory. He nods and sets it aside, clearing his mind. "All right. First off, don't freak out, okay? If you freak out, you'll look guilty, and may attract attention...not that you're necessarily looking for you yet, you know? So play it cool."

Andy Gallo: He nods, slowly. Taking another sip. "I've been hiding out at the park a lot. Keeping my head down."

Aerin Thomas: "Good." He nods. A cigarette is lit up, and he leans against the fridge. All business. "So. The guy's place. How much evidence did you leave lying around? Think hard. Anything you may have left. Fingerprints on anything, hairs, a dropped keychain, anything."

Andy Gallo: He shakes his head. "Nothing that I know of. No stuff for sure. no prints. I had my sleeves over my hands the whole time. When I hit him.. I used my board." He nods down to the board tucked under his arm. "And.. if anyone saw me.. they were good at it. I didn't see anyone."

Aerin Thomas: He nods. "Good. That's good...it means that they shouldn't have any leads on you. You're more then likely in the clear." He watches Andy, brow furrowed a little bit. "Are you okay?"

Andy Gallo: He shrugs, looking down to his glass.

Aerin Thomas: "I'm assuming this is the first person you've killed," he asks softly.

Andy Gallo: He nods slowly. "Unless you count the bane Arn let me stab.. but it was like.. dangling by a thread anyway.. and not what I'd call a 'person'.. "

Aerin Thomas: "No, I don't count that. Especially if it didn't look human, as most of them tend not to do."

Andy Gallo: He shakes his head. "It didn't. Brooks.." He frowns, taking another sip of his drink. "It'd be a stretch to say he looked human when the cops found him.."

Aerin Thomas: He nods slightly, giving him a sympathetic smile. "I know where you're at, Andy. I've been there before...my hands aren't exactly clean themselves."

Andy Gallo: He nods, draining the liquid in his glass. "I.. told Brice. I couldn't tell what she was thinking about it. She must think I'm a nutcase.."

Aerin Thomas: "You did what you thought you had to, Andy." He nods to the kinfolk. "And I would have done the same thing...only probably worse."

Andy Gallo: He frowns. "I acted rather than thinking. I didn't ~mean~ to kill him. I just.. I couldn't stop swinging, Aerin. I didn't want him dead.. "

Aerin Thomas: "I didn't figure you did." He nods a little bit. "Things happen, Andy. Sometimes, things get way out of control. Believe me, I know. All of us do...you've seen hints of our Rage, but I don't think you've ever seen one of us really lose ourselves to it. What we need to do is understand that what happened...happened. And as much as you may regret what happened...and as insane as this may sound...you've got to let it go. Because the guilt will destroy you if you don't."

Andy Gallo: He frowns, setting his glass down.

Aerin Thomas: Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: d10: Per+Emp: 9,5,1,5,10,5,8,

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: d10: Specialty: 3,

Andy Gallo: He is obviously ashamed and embarassed. He feels bad about bothering Aerin with his problems and still worried that kelsey's going to jump in and wail on him.

Aerin Thomas: He sighs a little bit. "It's going to be okay, Andy. I promise you, it is. Point of fact, you probably saved some lives. Who knows how many people this asshole ex-cop was giving trouble to?"

Andy Gallo: He shrugs. "I just.. I couldn'd stand the thought of him touching brice. Or hurting the baby."

Aerin Thomas: "I understand." He nods. "I'm serious, Andy...I would have done the same thing." He offers a very faint, weak sort of smile. "I have."

Andy Gallo: He shifts his weight a bit, looking nervously around the floor. "What.. happened?"

Aerin Thomas: He sighs a little bit and takes a deep drink of his scotch. "You know I have a daughter, right? I used to have two. My...significant other..." Not a mate anymore, don't call her a mate... "...was pregnant when Tori was a few months old. We had...a slight problem in the way of someone who had taken quite the dislike of us both, for their own reason."

Andy Gallo: He nods, listening intently.

Aerin Thomas: "They...started threatening us. Badly. I may be able to turn into a nine-plus foot tall ball of fang-and-claw doom, but there's just something about your child being threatened that puts the fear of the Goddess right into you. Things got close...closer then I...my significant other ever realized." He smirks a little. "Point of fact, she never realized it at all." His face shadows a little bit, eyes darkening. "This person who threatened my love and my unborn son is no longer of this world."

Andy Gallo: He nods, looking back down. "Yeah.. I mean.. you're right. I don't know why I feel so shitty about it.."

Aerin Thomas: "Because you've crossed a line you probably never thought you'd cross." He smiles a little. "For me, that line was crossed long before I killed this person. I've had to put people down who had become dangers to those around them. Not something I ever enjoyed." He looks at Andy. "It doesn't weigh any easier now. It is however, much to my fear when I stop to think about it, easier to put out of my mind."

Andy Gallo: He listens to the man, shifting his weight still. "I.. I know. I'm trying to put it out of my mind." He frowns down to the board under his arm. "I shouldn't have used my board. Takes all the fun out of the old girl."

Aerin Thomas: He smiles a little bit and nods, refilling his glass. "You'll be okay, Andy. I promise you."

Aerin Thomas: ((refilling Andy's glass))

Andy Gallo: "Yeah. I just hope brice doesn't flip out on me.. "

Aerin Thomas: "Well..." He sighs. "If she does, she does. But she'll eventually come to realize that you did it to protect her, you know?"

Andy Gallo: "Either that... or she'll come to realize that I'm crazy.. and would be better off on her own."

Aerin Thomas: "Not likely." He grins a little at the other man. "You'd be shocked how much crazy people can put up with. I know I've been."

Andy Gallo: He stays quiet for a second, thinking. He mumbles. "Kelsey fucking hates me.. again.. I think. I wish she'd make up her fucking mind. Is she always like this?"

Aerin Thomas: He shrugs. "Hell, you've known her about as long as me, Andy. She's just..." He shrugs. "Women, you know?"

Andy Gallo: He nods, frowning. "I just don't get her. She'd be really cool if she'd just chill the fuck out, sometimes."

Aerin Thomas: "I'm workin' on it. Teenage girls..." He shrugs. "She's not sure how she feels. She really cares about you Andy...a lot. But she's insecure, too. She gets hurt easily."

Andy Gallo: He nods. "Just... irritates me. She makes me feel like shit.. about things I can't help. She knows how I feel.. hell.. I used to talk to her more than anyone else in the city. Til she went all apeshit and tried to take my head off.."

Aerin Thomas: "She was in pain. Tried not to be, but...she was. And that fed her rage."

Andy Gallo:
He nods, shifting his weight. Drinking from the glass in front of him. "I'm stumped. If I leave her alone.. i'm fucked. If I call her up.. I'm fucked. If I talk to her openly about shit.. she tries to rip my face off.."

Aerin Thomas: "Like I said...I'm working on it." He smiles a little. "I'm not...unsympathetic to your plight Andy...at all. I understand it."

Andy Gallo:
He cracks a tiny smile. "My bad.. I don't mean to bitch at you about it. I'm sure you've got plenty of other shit to worry about.. without me rambling about annoying females."

Aerin Thomas: He chuckles a little. "Christ, Andy. Right now, this moment? If I wasn't listening to you ramble, I'd be worried about my own personal problems. So please, feel free. I don't mind at all."

Andy Gallo:
He lets a quiet laugh escape, nodding. "Fair enough."

Aerin Thomas: He grins and sighs. "Ahh...significant others. Who needs 'em, eh?" He grins, at least 85% kidding and raises his glass as if in toast to Andy.

Andy Gallo:
He raises his glass to Aerins, a tiny smile forming. "True that." He takes his glass back down, taking back a good gulp before grinning over to the man. The alcohol catching up to him. "You know aerin.. you're cool as shit. It's a good thing I'm not into dudes.. or this could be REALLY awkward."

Aerin Thomas: He grins and shrugs. "Yeah, well, that's one bridge we don't have to cross at least. And you're not so bad yourself, for the record."

Andy Gallo:
He makes a mock bow. "Thank you. I try."

Andy Gallo:
(and i'm about on my way to bed. he'd probably banter a little while longer before saying he needed to get back to brice)
