Micah Carrington: Micah sits quietly on one of the myriad benches, a cup of coffee clenched between his slim white hands, his eyes on a young family playing nearbye.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She's sitting on one of the picnic benches in the park, feet planted wide apart, leaning forward on a knee. A hand-rolled cigarette is sticking out of her mouth, the duster resting comfortably around her shoulders as she scans the park. The one-stop pot shop is stationary today, waiting for the business to come to her.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: d10: Per+Alert: 6,6,8,10,5,6,

Micah Carrington: He leans forward, eyes tracking intently, one hand uncurling from his cup to push through his raven curls, lips pulling up in a slow smile.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Oh, check it out. It's that...uh. That one guy. Yeah, him. She cocks an eyebrow toward him, grinning widely, and nods his way.

Micah Carrington: d10: per+alert: 7,4,1,7,

Micah Carrington: His eyes track the little boy as he runs, tongue flicking over his lips, body going still and tight as his eyes land on Reyna. The beautiful green eyes widen and he nods slowly.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Her eyes flick from Micah to the little boy, and that eyebrow arches a little higher. A moment's decision, and she hops off the bench, walking over toward Micah, still grinning like a banshee.

Micah Carrington: He straightens slowly and takes a sip of his coffee, eyes watching her over the rim of the travel mug.

He's dressed casually in a pair of low slung faded blue jeans and body skimming green button down, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, the top unbuttoned just far enough to show the dividing line between his pectorals.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She moves over and plops down on the bench next to him, looking over and smirking. "Hola, chico. S'up?"

Micah Carrington: "Hola, chica," he murmurs, shifting to put a bit of space, and one curled leg between them. "Not much. What's up with you?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ahhh, y'know. Doin' the business rounds, rocking the body that rocks the party, havin' nothin' but fun. That's what this city's all about, right? Fun?" She chuckles a little, eyes on him.

Micah Carrington: He smirks slowly, softly, his eyes flicking back towards the family. "Yeah...Fun. How you doing now that my...Now that he's gone?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: That, somehow, draws an even bigger grin, eyes flashing brightly with an almost insane amusement. "I'm survivin'. Y'know. Getting along. Hey, it's not the end of the world, right? Not for most people, anyway." She shrugs a bit, looking away suddenly to watch the family Micah was tracking. "No biggie."

Micah Carrington: "I thought you were his lover?" A pause as he draws a sudden, sharp breath, eyes on the little boy again. "Pretty cold attitude, Reyna."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks back over at him, suddenly, eyes sharp and cutting right through the boy. The grin remains. "Yeah, well, he had a lot of those, right? S'not like I was in a really exclusive club or anything." She tilts her head to the side slightly, examining Micah for a moment. "'sides, I don't think I was cut out for that kinda thing, anyway. I certainly didn't seem to rank high on the list."

Micah Carrington: He drags his eyes away and settles them on Reyna, pupils dilated, the green dark and smoky...Hungry. "What kinda thing?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "The whole love thing." She shrugs, perusing Micah's expression.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: d10: Per+Empathy: 4,9,10,3,7,10,

Micah Carrington: "Ah." He grunts, shrugging, meeting her gaze a little brazenly.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "So what's your deal, kiddo?" She tilts her head a little further, snarky little grin firmly affixed. "What's yankin' yer chain?"

Micah Carrington: "None of your business, Reyna," he murmurs, tongue sliding over his lips.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "See, that just proves how little you know me, cabrón." She chuckles, leaning back. "Ya think something like that's gonna stop me in my tracks, you gotta lot of learnin' to do. And I'm a damn good fuckin' teacher."

Micah Carrington: He shrugs gracefully. "I honestly don't care if it derails you or not, I'm simply stating a fact. Its none of your business."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "No, but I don't think it's Sparky's business, either." She looks over to the young boy, to make a point.

Micah Carrington: He flushes angrily and drops his gaze, long at his lips again, teeth grinding. "To true."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Damn right it is," she says with a grin, watching Micah with a look in her eyes akin to a rabid animal standing inbetween her young and a predator. "So, what's the plan here, Ziggy S? How's this gonna go down?"

Micah Carrington: "I wasn't going to do anything. I wasn't," he murmurs, drawing his knee towards his chest, hands shaking. "Just watch...Just...Its..."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Yeah. I hear that on SVU all the fuckin' time." She takes a drag off her cigarette. "Hey, what's that smell?"

Micah Carrington: "I'm not a ped," he whispers, voice cracking.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Nope. Not yet." She shakes her head. "But you're relucantly courched at the starting line. Only thing yer waitin' on is the green light flashin', and the flags to go up." She leans forward, close to him, smirking. "Do yourself and those around you a favor, Micah. Turn off the engine, and get outa the race."

Micah Carrington: "I'm trying," he whispers. "Aerin's gonna fix it...he's gonna fix me."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Mmm." She nods. "Dreamboat seems to try a lot of that, from what I hear. Good for him, and good for you." She puts the cigarette in her mouth and pats Micah's shoulder, speaking around the filter. "Best o' luck with that, hon. 'cause I'd hate to have to teach you that particular lesson. Wouldn't be fun on either of us. Ask Micheal Espesito...oh, wait. You can't."

Micah Carrington: He shivers softly and stares up at her, eyes wide, almost pleading...as if what she's hinting at would ease his soul in ways he can't even describe.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Nope. No easy way out for you, cutie-pie. Not yet, anyway." She winks at him. "Tell ya what. This whole fixin' thing don't work out, ya let me know, 'kay? Then we'll see what we can do."

Micah Carrington: "Its not easy, Reyna...None of this is easy and I've seen Trevor...Even death isn't an out," he whispers.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Something wavers in her gaze, before a certain edge comes into it. She laughs a little bit, shaking her head. "Bah. Only for the terminally unlucky is termination not an option. Or Marvel Universe characters."

Micah Carrington: "Did you ever think a man who could love the two of us was lucky? Or stable," he asks.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Using that criteria? Not by any definition of the words." She shakes her head, then rises to her feet. "Well, I gotta vamooskie. Ya ever wanna hang out with kids yer own age, gimme a ring, kiddo. Otherwise...stay at home."

Micah Carrington: He frowns at her and stands as well, watching her quietly. "Yeah. Maybe, Reyna. Adios."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She grins to Micah, and then turns, heading off, out of the park.
