Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((First post in 2025 hours! W00t!))

Malcolm De Witt: (here)

Angelia Caponelli: (me too)

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((me too me too))

Malcolm De Witt: So Malcolm shows up to the challenge, at the appointed time, wearing some casual clothing, a nice v necked T shirt and some cargo shorts, along with some docksiders.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She's there a tad early, in her usual garb, the tank top, black pants, and the good ol' duster. She smiles faintly to Malc as he shows up. "Hey, you."

Malcolm De Witt: He smiles to her, a bit sadly, but genuinely glad to see her. "How are you?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Truckin'." She shrugs. "Yourself?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Ingvar arrives a bit early. He's wearing a t shirt that he's apparently owned for a while, and a pair of casual slacks. Barefoot, otherwise. Two plastic bags- one in each hand. They tinkle as he sets them down.*

Malcolm De Witt: He sighs, looking forlorn. "Silkie's not coming. She says she doesn't care who wins. She thinks Karlos is right."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks to Malcom* About what?

Angelia Caponelli: Ang well lives there so she arrives rather promptly. She's got on a pair of grey yoga pants and a snug fitting tank top, her hair pulled back in pig tails to keep it up off of her neck.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She purses her lips, then sighs. "Sorry to hear that."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He begins to move and drag furniture. A small end table... which he positions, apparently, with great care... then looks around for something.*

Angelia Caponelli: She glances over the bag and then to Malcolm with a frown. "When did you talk to her?"

Malcolm De Witt: "About us not belonging together as a Sentai."

Malcolm De Witt: "She slept with me last night." he answers Ang.

Angelia Caponelli: She nods with a soft sigh. "Do you know where she is today? Does she still have her phone?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks at Angelia- gesturing toward a chair, as though she were helping to arrange some event* That one for you- *He turns and moves toward another, carrying it over to the table.*

Malcolm De Witt: "She went swimming," he says.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She takes a lean against the wall, watching the arranging Ingvar's doing and listening to the conversation.

Angelia Caponelli: She nods to Malcolm and looks over Ingvar some what neutrally before she goes to pick up the chair and bring it over to sit across from his.

Angelia Caponelli: "Did she say when she would be back?" She asks Mal while she's straightening the chair.

Malcolm De Witt: "I don't know if she's coming back," he answers dully.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Malcom.. I have an observation. I am saying nothing bad about Karlos- whom I know you care for deeply. *he settles the chair, glancing at the young man.* However. Those of us here- we know there is a problem. Several. But we have the strength to face, and attempt to overcome them. To be here, and struggle, and to our best. This is something important.. by itself. Yes?

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Her eyes shoot to Malcolm. "What?"

Angelia Caponelli: "Malcolm, we'll find her. And we'll help her do what ever is best for her and the Body."

Malcolm De Witt: He frowns at Ingvar, looking frustrated almost to tears. "There wouldn't be any problems if you all just loved each other, instead of pretending to."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He moves over to the wetbar. Then around to the fridge, where he proceeds to take down glasses and pour drinks. For Malcom, it seems Crysanthemum juice. He then proceeds to make chocolate milk, extra chocolate.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: The first step in that. *His voice wafts from the kitchen.* Is understanding. Without this. *he glances at Angelia, then Reyna- then back.* You cannot love. Thus the lot of us being here, today. *He looks at Reyna* Tequila Sunrise, yes?

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks to Malcolm and frowns a little. "You don't think I love all of us?"

Angelia Caponelli: She pauses and looks over Malcolm, hurt, "I love you. I even love that big lug over there." Her head tilts over towards Ingvar. "And Silkie in particular I really love. Though I have no idea how to help her."

Malcolm De Witt: He nods to Ingvar, and then looks to Reyna, then to Ang, answering Ang first. "You don't have to help Silkie. Help is not love, it's control. You just have to accept her."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Yes, Ingvar, thanks."

Malcolm De Witt: "And Karlos says he regrets hurting you." He says to Ang. 'He regrets it deeply."

Angelia Caponelli: "Malcolm..." She sighs. "I'm just going to shut up now."

Malcolm De Witt: He looks back to Reyna. "And no, I don't think you love any of us, but maybe Angelia and Trevor, who isn't really one of us, but you two both seem to think he's more important than any of us, even Firesnake."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He nods. Every bit imperious, seemingly focused- and he knows how much chocolate to add to the glass. Once it is mixed, he brings the three into a living room on a tray. Focused, precise, he leans toward each, making nothing yet for he and Angelia. Listening to the talking as he moves around the room. The chocolate milk is left on an endtable near Malcom.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He claps his hands once, rubbing them together.. perhaps a ploy for attention- but he nods amicably enough, seeing the preperations made.* The rules, Yes? This is not a challenge only between Angelia and I. It is for all of us. *He moves to Angelia's side of the small endtable, pulling out her chair.* Madame.

Malcolm De Witt: He watches Ingvar work, curious in spite of himself.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks stunned by that, and hurt flashes briefly through her eyes before she covers it with a blink, and it's gone by the time they open again. She looks away from Malcolm, over to watch Ingvar.

Angelia Caponelli: She's still being quiet. Her attention slides to Ingvar and she moves over to take a the offered seat with a nod.

Malcolm De Witt: He moves to take a seat, wincing at the pain in Reyna's eyes. "Well if you did love us," he says to her, "Why haven't you done anything with us? Why are you always with him?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He moves around the endtable, still barefoot, never no dressed down, perhaps in his life. From the bag, first alcohol. Aquavitt for him, the mixing ingredients for both a tequila sunrise and several other things he's known her to drink still in the bag. He deposits glasses on the table with some ceremony- before extracting a notebook sized magnetic travel- chess set from the bag and positioning it between them.* Angelia and I will play. Every piece lost, we drink. Simple- but. We will not speak to each other. Both of us have done that quite enough. Our silence is as required as the rest of the sentai heckling us. *He glances at the other two.* Mercilessly. Whatever jibe, poignant anecdote, or foolishness you wish to accuse us of, do so. In this case, we are forced to simply hear you out and consider what you say. Questions are allowed as well. If we respond at all to a jibe, we drink. Refusal to answer a question is forfeiture of the challenge. Losing, of course, is losing, and the winner will remain Mind.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ...of course, talking amongst yourselves is allowed.

Angelia Caponelli: SHe smiles faintly to Ingvar, remarkably, this is not so far off the mark from what she'd had in mind herself.

Malcolm De Witt: He frowns. He's not very good at being merciless.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She listens to the rules of the challenge, lips quirking into a little smile. Slowly, her eyes move to Malcolm. "I've always been here, Malc, waiting for you all if needed. As you have been for me, I know. It's a two-way street, after all."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He only nods back, gesturing to the chess set. Perhaps an attempt at togetherness. Though his face remains a visage of ironlike control. Quite focused.. apparently the challenge as serious to him as any other.*

Malcolm De Witt: "You're our Voice, Reyna. But all you do is stand off against the wall and keep silent."

Malcolm De Witt: He looks to Ingvar, and then to Ang, and then to the chess set. "Is there a time limit? And what if you play to a draw?"

Malcolm De Witt: "And what do we do if someone frenzies?"

Angelia Caponelli: She crosses her legs and looks over the chess set thoughtfully.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She nods. "I'm not saying I haven't fallen down on the job, Malcolm. I've admitted that, and I'm trying to work on it."

Angelia Caponelli: She reaches under her shirt, pulls out her tranq gun and holds it out to Malcolm.

Malcolm De Witt: He blinks and hands it over to Reyna. "I don't shoot pistols well."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: No time limit- we must have all the time we can for each other, if this is to work. *He considers Angelia for a moment as he speaks again, eyes narrowing slightly.* Enough mistakes will be made to prevent a draw, so I do not think that will be a problem. As for frenzy... *he gets a distasteful look at the dart gun* I had rather thought you were already decided, Malcom... should one of us frenzy- that, at least for now, is abandonment.. *he looks toward the young man.* And your response will be to make good on your words the other day.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She takes the pistol from Malcolm with a nod, looking back to the two.

Malcolm De Witt: He frowns, looking down at his lap and considering all of this.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He clenches a fist, cracking the knuckles in the process, then folds his hands together and glances at the board before moving a piece.*((For that part I'm not quiiiiiiite sure how to determine a winner. Maybe roll a pool or something toward the end of the scene?))

Silkie: Walks in without knocking.

Angelia Caponelli: She glances over at Mal and then Ingvar some what curiously and then back down over the peices.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((Int or Wits+Enigmas or Military Science, would be my best estimation of a chess game roll, if opinions are being considered.))

Silkie: She's wearing white shorts and a white tee shirt, her feet are bare, hair wet and dripping everywhere.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Flared nostrils. Its easy enough to tell who enters. Without looking around, or indeed, away from Angelia and the board, one powerful hand extends toward the endtable that holds the chocolate milk. True to the words of the challenge, he doesn't speak unless spoken to.*

Malcolm De Witt: ((Agrees with Rey, suggests wits because of the harrasment and distractions)

Angelia Caponelli: (Oh wits, my great weakness :) )

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((that's why Ing picked chess. He's an asshole.*L*))

Angelia Caponelli: She looks over and smiles when she sees Silkie rather brightly and nods.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *as Angelia considers her move, he pours her a drink.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Her eyes pass to Silkie, looking her over and then offering her a faint smile and nod, before looking to the game. "So, we're talkin' about a challenge for Mind, so my first question is for both of you. What's the chief failure in the other, and in yourself? Ingy, you start first."

Silkie: She's a little surprised the furniture isn't broken yet as she looks around, spying Ingvar and the others. Her eyes go to the glass and she walks over and shoves it onto the floor, then moves to sit by Malcolm.

Angelia Caponelli: (yes. I was going to pick something that worked on Int instead but my challenge idea was very similiar.)

Silkie: She doesn't smile at anyone.

Malcolm De Witt: 7,10,7,2,2,1,6,

Malcolm De Witt: HE moves to catch the glass before it spills to much, blinking at Silkie. "Reyna, could explain the rules to Silkie, please?"

Angelia Caponelli: She reaches over and moves a pawn forwards and leans back so Ingvar can make his move. She winces faintly as Silkie spills cocoa all ove the carpet but bites her lower lip and stays quiet.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: He nods to Malcolm, and looks to Silkie. "The winner of the chess game becomes Mind. We're able to say anything we want to either of them, and if they respond to anything that isn't a question, they have to take a drink. If they don't answer a question, they lose. They can't say anything at all, other then to answer the questions we ask."

Malcolm De Witt: HE rises quickly with the semi-spilt milk, rushing to get a towel to clean it up, licking his fingers.

Silkie: Looks from Reyna to Ang and Ingvar. "Are we allowed to touch them?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: mm. *He considers Angelia as he moves another pawn. A known defense in chess starts to form. He barely has to glance at the set.* Self- centeredness. By itself, a rather mild failing. But when combined with single minded focus, it grows worse. As for me, *He blinks... considering.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "No, I don't think so, Silkie."

Angelia Caponelli: She nods a little bit to Ingvar, watching the board intently. She moves another peice without hesitation, "I think Ingvar's is his distance and lack of sympathy... or seeming lack of sympathy. They make him see apart when he should a part."

Malcolm De Witt: "No but you can flash your boobies at ingvar," he offers, knowing how that unsettles the man.

Malcolm De Witt: He cleans up the spilt milk, and considers what else to do. With Chalina, he's had alot of practice at cleaning up spills.

Silkie: Her eyes flicker from Ang to Ing and she shoves a chair over, closer to the board.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He considers Angelia's answer.. and tries to find.. something. Honestly so, apparently.* The question... is one of points of view. *his eyes narrow, then he answers* I do think.. distance. One cannot command without a certain level of intimacy.

Angelia Caponelli: "And in myself... I feel far too much and take it all too personally." She nods a bit. Lets Ingvar move.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *The bishop slides across the board, he re-laces his fingers and settles his chin on his hands.*

Malcolm De Witt: He looks to Silkie, then to Reyna.

Angelia Caponelli: She smiles to Silkie a bit before she looks back over to the board, pushing her rook forwards to take the bishop. She tilts a hand towards Ingvar's drink.

Silkie: "Where's Yuki?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Pale eyes flick to Malcom. One eyebrow tilts... then he glances at Silkie, then Reyna. Then back to the board.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He tilts back the glass a ways, re- settling it precisely in the middle of the napkin- the ring from its weight completely undisturbed.*

Malcolm De Witt: "I don't know." He shrugs. "Maybe you convinced her that Karlos was right."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "All right, well, here's where you're right, and here's where you're wrong, in my not-so-humble opinion. Angelia, you fucked as Mind because your focus is elsewhere, as is mine. This isn't to say that you don't love everyone here..." A pointed, fairly sharp glance goes to Malcolm at that. "...or that you're not trying. But you and I have been too busy focusing on our personal lives and Trevor to worry about the sentai. The problem is, we're both too frickin' wrapped up to realize we can do both."

Silkie: Scowls at Angelia. She wants them both to lose.

Malcolm De Witt: He looks to Ang and says "IF you become Mind will you turn Trevor over to the Courts?"

Angelia Caponelli: She nods to Reyna a bit.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ingvar, your problem, you actually hit the nail on the head, though let me make it a little clearer. You can't seem to be bothered with caring about anyone. You act like a prick to people when it suits your purposes, and nice when it doesn't. You're manipulative, which I get, 'cause you're a Shadow Lord. But manilpulation doesn't fly with me, and I won't be called a dullard one moment, and be treated with respect the next, and be dumb enough to fall for that shit."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "And for both of you, your personal life is also a problem because of you and Ingvar's past relationship. You're angry at each other, and you let it get in the way of making sound decisions. I point to the Cathedral fun as evidence, while we were sitting in the van."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: And she falls silent at that, letting Malcolm's question be answered.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((you and Ingvar's=your guys's))

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *His eyes focus on Reyna's lips as she speaks. Then back to the board. However- he does call Angelia's attention to her glass when she nods to Reyna. Pantomiming a tilting motion with one hand.*

Angelia Caponelli: She winces at Malcolm, "I can't say Malcolm. I don't know."

Angelia Caponelli: She reaches over and picks up her glass taking a goos size mouthful of it's contents before she moves her peace.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He tilts an eyebrow slightly to Malcom's question. Not looking around, merely continuing with the game as he mulls over Reyna's words.. that incident.. that was a fragile moment.. he glances at Malcom.. one he tried to expand to the young man.*

Silkie: She doesn't sit in the chair she moved, rather leaning on the back of it, listening to the others talk.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He opens his mouth- then closes it again in mild consternation as he tilts the glass again. Perhaps he was foolish in one stricture of the challenge..*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ingvar. On the subject of personal relationships, who are you more dedicated to. The sentai, or your chicky-poo?"

Malcolm De Witt: "ANgelia, you can't be decisive, you can't be a good Mind."

Angelia Caponelli: Ang shifts a bit in her seat and glances over to Malcolm.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Pale eyes flick to Reyna.* Ms. ~Randelle~. To answer your question. *Perhaps shockingly, He didn't take very long before answering.* I would like to expound. *He moves a piece.*

Malcolm De Witt: "Being a Mind is making the hard choices quickly in the heat of battle. And being willing to bear the consequences of failure. How have you failed, Ingvar, in your life?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Please, expound away."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Please, expound away."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *His eyes flick to Malcom, but his response is swift, and spoken with surety.* By experiencing, firsthand, too little. Monastic upbringing, combined with a resolve to be appropriate- it has led to being easily blindsided. Distracted from my task for personal things that should actually matter less than duty. They do in time- but in too much time.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks back to Reyna.* I have no personal relationship with the sentai as yet. Not as individuals, or a group bound by anything so far outside of Firesnake. I do not believe it was an accurate question. *He nods, and moves a piece again.*

Angelia Caponelli: She moves one of her peices while they speak to Ingvar, chewing on her lower lip.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He... doesn't... quite look at Angelia after that round of questions.*

Silkie: Shakes her head.

Silkie: Does lying count?

Malcolm De Witt: "Is there a punishment for lying?" He looks to Reyna, as if by default making her the arbitrator here. "Because I think Ingvar just lied to us."

Silkie: ((last statement aloud))

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He cants an eyebrow. Looks to Malcom.. sighs and takes a drink... after all, rules are rules. But he does nod to Reyna, slightly confused, under the mask, but leaving up to her what he had not considered in the challenge.*

Angelia Caponelli: She nudges a peice along and stays quiet even though she would dearly like to say something.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks from Malcom, to Silkie, then Reyna.. then to Angelia. His eyes widen slightly... oh thaaaat's what they meant..*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ingvar, you can't quibble on the term personal relationships. You have relationships with us all. You had one with Silkie, enough to give her a nickname. You have a very strong, complex relationship with Angelia. And you've called me friend before, that implies one. Malcolm and Karlos, you've shown dedication to. I think you've tried to qualify a question, instead of answer, and that's utter bullshit."

Angelia Caponelli: She reaches over to take a drink and looks up to Ingvar, waiting on his answer to that one there.

Malcolm De Witt: He nods. "There should be a punishment for it. Make him take off his clothes."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He cants his head for a moment.* I see your point. Excuse, please. Nevertheless- I did answer before offering my own, personal view. Yes?

Silkie: "I've been inside of you, Ingvar. And you're telling me we don't have a personal relationship? I was with you the day you broke."

Malcolm De Witt: "Is lying refusing to answer the question? Does that make a forfeit?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He leans back slightly, watching, and waiting. Unsure whether Silkie meant that as a question or a statement, he doesn't respond.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "So, you're saying that your relationship with chicky-poo Randelle is more important to you then your duty to the sentai. And on the same note, everyone gets on Angelia and me for putting Trevor before the sentai. No one's completely dedicated to this sentai, with the possible exception of Okami. My vote is that you down a full glass of your drink for trying to wordsmith your way out of the answer."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *In order to salvage face, he does more. First the glass... which is not exactly small... a slight blink as he remasters his lungs, then he begins to strip in his seat. There is no second way out of having been caught... even if he understands only late what he did.*

Silkie: Scowls as he ignores her even though it will cost him in the challenge.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((To be fair, it seemed to me like Silkie was making a statement or jibe, rather than a question. That's why Ingvar didn't respond.))

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Silkie, was that a question? It sounded like a rhetorical question, which means it wasn't meant to be answered, but was meant to make a statement."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((DLP- read it again- I'm sorry!))

Angelia Caponelli: She looks some what alarmed as Ingvar starts taking off his clothes. Immediately her attention goes to his torso, sides, back, looking for signs of old familiar practices.

Silkie: "Fuck you, Reyna! I've given this sentai everything and put up with yours and everyone elses disrespect."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "What the fuck?" It was an honest question.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Pale eyes swing to Angelia. He remains silent, but his eyes ask for patience, steadiness. So that neither responds. Perhaps Silkie must speak too.*

Angelia Caponelli: She leans back, looking back at Ingvar. She takes a deep breath and waits.

Malcolm De Witt: He blinks as Silkie curses. Obviously she's been hanging out with Xu and Fausto far too much.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She stares at Silkie, in disbelief a moment. "That wasn't disrespect. That was an honest fucking question, Silkie. And since whther it was a statement or question could cost Ingvar the challenge, I would like to know which it is."

Silkie: "I left Sea for this. Be quiet Silkie, don't ask questions, Silkie, focus Silkie. I'd like to see you survive two years within Sea."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *His teeth grind... hard... there is apparently a response to that waiting within him. Hardly constructive, so he holds it in.*

Malcolm De Witt: He laughs at that, tilting his head. Silkie does have a point. Sea is ~scary~. It has ~sharks~.

Silkie: She steps aggressively towards Reyna. "FOCUS REYNA," she practically spits. "I'm not talking about the stupid question."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Pale eyes lock on Malcom. He frowns slightly, then continues to watch Silkie throw a tantrum.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He moves a chess piece.*

Silkie: "And YOU!" She turns on Ingvar. "Do you think I couldn't make you frenzy and finish this contest? In case you're wondering... yes, that is a question."

Malcolm De Witt: He smirks at Ingvar, then at Ang. Since Silkie's question's paused, he grins and asks "Have you ever sucked Ingvar's cock, Angelia?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Her eyes flash a moment, though she keeps her voice calm. "Yes, I occasionally ask you to be quiet...FOR A MOMENT, because other things were in the middle of being discussed. Or to focus on what we're talking about instead of taking us in a new direction, so we forget the previous point, and things get missed. But I've always tried to be respectful to you, and to clarify things you don't understand. I risked my life to step into this building's elevator, to save your life and the life of your friends, and I did it without a second thought. You have no fucking clue the things I'd do, and have done, for you. That all of us would and have done."

Angelia Caponelli: She relaxs, listening to them talk, soaking in Silkie's current tone not particularly seeming suprised. She nudges a peice. Looks back at Ingvar.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He glances at Malcom- blinking rapidly. His eyes never shift from the young man as he takes a drink- knowing he failed to withhold a response to the well played question.*

Silkie: "Risking your life isn't the point, Reyna. That's what you do. That's what you all do."

Angelia Caponelli: She smirks over at Malcolm, "No I have not."

Malcolm De Witt: "Have you ever wanted to?" he presses Ang.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He moves a piece as well. SHaking his head slightly.*

Angelia Caponelli: "Yes there was a time I did."

Malcolm De Witt: 'Hey!," he says to Silkie. "No generalizing. It's not what I do."

Silkie: "Sorry, Malcolm."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "I'm not just talking about that one incident, Silkie. And please don't zero in on the one part you can respond to in a way that supports your theory. There were other words in there, too."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He blinks at her. Like... that woman in Prague? Certainly they mean something else. He considers carefully his next move.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He nods to Silkie.* I am quite aware.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((as a matter of fact, I have to answer that differently. So DLP, insert this one instead.)) *He blinks at the enraged girl. Looking her over.* I am aware. *certainly the shrieking is going places..*

Angelia Caponelli: She glances over Ingvar and thnen back down at the board moving her remaining knight. She points at Ingvar's glass.

Silkie: "Don't like those words being ignored?" She turns to Angelia. "And if you think for a minute that I'm going to apologize to you, Firesnake, or this sentai for anything I've done, you can kiss my ass."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He takes a drink, settles the glass again. Then tilts an eyebrow at Angelia. Something deep in the Judge trembles.. were they to hear.. only overhear..*

Malcolm De Witt: He looks to Ingvar. "Have you ever wanted Angelia to suck your cock? Because, you know, that's not really mating...so it's not breaking any real rules for you guys.

Angelia Caponelli: She looks some what torn between wanting to frown at Silkie and smirk at Malcolm. Either way she takes a drink.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "And you know what? At least I've admitted fault in the things I've done. I know I have problems, and I'm fucking working on them. You won't admit that you've done anything wrong, as you just proved by saying that we could all kiss your ass. And despite the fact that you're being a complete bitch right now, Silkie...despite that fact, I still love you, and would still do anything for you, including look at myself and see where I've gone wrong with us. Will you do the same?"

Silkie: "I HAVEN'T done anything wrong!"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He finally does speak to the defiant girl.* Then kindly leave. The rest of us are trying to do just that, you purile fish. *He takes a drink- knowing that was out of line. Then returns to the game after answering Malcom's question.* I wanted things. I did not at the time quite have names to put to them. *He darts a glance at Malcom. The KR blocks voice recordings.. surely it does.. a fine sheen of sweat appears on his forehead.* And it ~is~ breaking the intent of the Law, Malcom.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Bull. Shit."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((part toward silkie was in response to the refusal to apologize.))

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((The last directed to Silkie))

Angelia Caponelli: She takes a slow deep breath and moves another peice. Focusing.

Malcolm De Witt: "Silkie, it is wrong to try and kill a fellow Gaian for taking a picture of you swimming naked."

Silkie: "I'll just bet you'd like me to leave, Ingvar. Before I decide I do want to see you frenzy and lose this challenge."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He remains focused on the chessboard, one sinewy finger ushering his queen through the gap in his remaining defense. Playing with a certain skill, though not exactly a master.*

Silkie: Blinks at Malcolm. "I didn't try and kill anyone."

Angelia Caponelli: She survey's Ingvar's defences. And then survey's Ingvar himself.

Angelia Caponelli: 5,3,3,7,8,8,

Silkie: "And the day before that woman took my picture, Angelia told me not to let anyone take my picture."

Silkie: Narrows her eyes at Ingvar a moment as something occurs to her, then looks at Ang and then at Malcolm. "Who picked these rules?"

Malcolm De Witt: "Silkie, you grab hold of someone who couldn't swim and dragged them into the water. Just like fish can't breath on the land, people can't breathe underwater."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Does not letting people take your picture mean you can throw them into the area you just said you'd like to see someone ELSE survive in?"

Angelia Caponelli: She frowns, still watching Ingvar closely. She moves a peice and raises an eyebrow in a sort of 'you okay?' expression.

Silkie: "I didn't hold her under the water. I even pulled her out when she sank." Looks a little confused. She'd never seen anyone sink like that before.

Malcolm De Witt: "You drowned her, Silkie. You killed her, and it was only because someone else knew how to save her that she survived. And she wasn't wyrmy, she was of Gaia."

Malcolm De Witt: "So yes, that was wrong, Silkie. As much as I love you, that was wrong, and you shouldn't have done it."

Silkie: "I only pushed her in the water, all she had to do was swim a little. I just wanted to get her camera wet. Weaver things usually break in the water."

Malcolm De Witt: "You caused her death."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Anger lights his skin a faint coral color.. perhaps they can restrain it until the sentai may be reformed.. Turn in Trevor, perhaps have him back with good arguement, then he can lead them... something. He meets angelia's eyes, and moves another piece.*

Silkie: "How can anyone not know how to swim when almost the whole world is water and everything on the dirt arose from the sea?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She's quiet, letting Malcolm field this, as it seems he can likely get through to her better then she can.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He watches Silkie idly, considering options.*

Angelia Caponelli: She moves another peice, still watching Ingvar.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *His gaze sweeps among the rest.. still a hazy sort of unfocused regard.. then back to the board.*

Malcolm De Witt: "You killed her. And somebody else had to save her. But it injured her, and your ignorance of her condition is no excuse."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks from Angelia to Silkie.. then back. Saying nothing. A few more moves, and the game should be decided.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: Okay, she WAS quiet. "Silkie, you know Sea better then anyone. You know how dangerous she can be to land people. You just told me as much, by implying that I couldn't survive there when you could, which is of course true. I can't swim well...I grew up in an area without much water at all. And you know that people don't automatically know everything, like you did. We've been over that before. So you should know that not everyone automatically knows how to swim."

Silkie: "I would have licked her if Travis hadn't been there. And I wasn't trying to kill her."

Malcolm De Witt: When Reyna starts talking, he looks back toward Invar. "Did you want to fuck Silkie?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He almost blurts it.* She was a mermaid. *His face twists, as though someone had asked if he'd like to have a go at the statue of the Blessed Virgin.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Ten years or so, a little.... more... *he blinks, then looks back to Malcom. No need to whitewash things..* Sense.. and perhaps.

Malcolm De Witt: "That's not an answer, Invgar, that's a deflection."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Trying or not, you did, Silkie. We still have to take responsibility for our actions, even if we didn't intend to do so. Like I didn't intend to show you disrespect. But I'm going to look at myself, and figure out how I did so, and try to change it."

Angelia Caponelli : She chokes, clears her throat before taking a drink herself, the alcohol starting to flush her fair cheeks a bright rose hue.

Silkie: "I meant in a fish body Reyna. Not like you are now. Even bugs know how to swim. Why would have I even thought about it. The water was calm. You make it sound like I dropped her in an oceanic trench."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "People don't automatically know how to do everything," she repeats, calmly. "You know this."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: "fuck" her, as you put it, for the sake of doing so, no. That has never been... *he considers... eyes shifting, as though he were reading himself.* Over- strong a motivation. She is a child. Not an object of lust. *He pauses, remembering the "big sister" phase.* Actually, yes.

Silkie: "Fine. I'm sorry I made the girl drown. It was an accident."

Silkie: Blinks at Malcolm, why is he asking so many fuck questions?

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He shrugs, sighs, and shakes his head.* It was a matter of a trick on her part, but yes. *murmured* bozmeg.. *he moves a piece, then glares a bit at Angelia. Demanding quiet on the issue.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "I have a question, Ingvar. What's bozmeg mean?"

Angelia Caponelli : She just gives Ingvar a look, it's not jealious at all, or angery. Just a look.

Silkie: "A trick, Ingvar? Did you know it was me?"

Malcolm De Witt: He grins, triumphant on this point. "Do you think, Ingvar, that your...inappropriate desires may have colored your interactions with Angelia and Silkie. Creating conflict with them to drive tehm away, so that you are not tormented with the desires that shame you?"

Angelia Caponelli : Ahhh... Malcolm. She grins and takes a drink.

Silkie: "And I'm not a child. I've never been a child. I don't have parents. I've never even been born."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks to Malcolm, grinning like a...well, like a coyote. The first truly honest grin she's had today.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He cants an eyebrow at Reyna.* Simply put, roll every swear word a person would say if broken down on the side of the road, trying to fix their car. "Bozmeg" is all of that, with the exception that saying it will likely melt the car.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ahh. Thanks...a good word for my vocabulary." She winks to the Lord.

Angelia Caponelli : (gonna lag for a few min I'm having to bottle feed the kittens can they're crying.)

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Better than the alternative, Malcom. *Spoken with no small measure of solemnity, but he considers* Perhaps in the beginning. However, things turned out quite less embarassing and shameful than if I had.

Malcolm De Witt: "I don't think so, Ingvar. I for my part am totally ashamed by your lack of leadership and your horrific cruelty to Silkie, who was at one time in love with you enough to want you to father her children, which would have been a great honor, seeing as your children would have been Spirit Born."

Silkie: Scowls at Malcolm. He promised he wouldn't tell!

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He blinks at Malcom. Apparently, unconcerned.* Dead only days ago, and here with such self- righteousness? I count myself lucky. I will have other children without mating with one. *He nods to the girl.*

Angelia Caponelli : She looks at Silkie, Malcolm and Ingvar all extreamely suprised to hear this.

Malcolm De Witt: "And I think you're a coward." He says to Ingvar.

Malcolm De Witt: "And a liar. And a pathetic piece of dogshit."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Then a pedophile is a brave man? *He takes a drink, but continues to watch the young man.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks from Silkie to Malcolm, then to Ingvar, nodding agreement to Malc's words. "You're too tied up in propriety, Ingvar, because it allows you to protect yourself. Once again, you felt emotion, and you felt it inappropriate. Was it? Maybe. But rather then deal with it responsibly, you shut it off, and if you're doing it with Abbey, you're doomed to fail there, too."

Angelia Caponelli : She takes a drink and leans back, turning her attention back onto Ingvar.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks to Reyna.* Rest assured, it is more a matter of Silkie's massive mental incompetence and repeated stupidities that led me to push her away. Not something so simple and understood as a fire in the loins.* He chuckles, amused.*

Malcolm De Witt: "Are you a pedo, Ingvar? Did you want Micah to suck your cock? Is that why you threw him out like piece of trash? Because you're too much of a coweard to face your own cock?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He tilts his head slightly, watching Malcom. He is taking drinks as he continually answers- but seems a bit sympathetic toward the young man.*

Silkie: "I wouldn't let him now anyway, Malcolm. He was too blind to see what needed doing. He sees himself and a child. He doesn't see me. He never has. He didn't see Sea and Thunder making lightening in Hudson. He wants to be blind. He said I'm useless, and he's right. I am useless to him. I am useless to the sentai with him as mind, because he won't see the world through my eyes."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She shrugs. "I'm looking at patterns, here, Ingvar. You do it with every relationship in your life, that I've seen. Statistics don't lie....whoa." She looks to Malcolm, blinking. Distractedly, she addresses Ingvar. "Take a drink, Ingvar. I didn't ask a question."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He nods to Silkie at the last.* Indeed. I will not. So. *He nods to Angelia.* Once we finish here, the rest of you are at liberty to challenge as you please.

Angelia Caponelli : She fold her arms and just watches Ingvar.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((Delete the take a drink bit. :P))

Angelia Caponelli : She picks up her glass, "Answer the question about Micah Ingvar." She says even as she's taking a drink.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((I'm thinking that Angelia and Ingvar will have about 1 die to roll for their chess game by the time we're done. *G*))

Silkie: "Yet I was willing to see the world through your eyes, Ingvar. Why do you think Firesnake wanted me to be the eyes of the sentai?"

Malcolm De Witt: "And how hard have you tried to let us see through you, Silkie? Yuo're off with Tom and with all your other friends, and you don't do anything but sulk and throw things when you're angry. You haven't done anything to show us how you see."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: oh. *He blinks, then looks at Malcom. Its almost humerous.* Not a pedophile myself, no.. I did not want Micah to engage in any form of sexual activity with me... whatsoever. *eyes half lidded.* And I did not throw him anywhere. He proved at best, inconstant. Weak. I had nothing to do with him for these reasons alone. And am rarely guided in matters of saving the world by my genitals.

Angelia Caponelli : (And if we stood up first we'd get way less then that)

Silkie: Blinks at Malcolm.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks to Silkie.* I have no idea. In this, his wisdom extends far beyond my own- *One finger settles on a chess piece, moves it, and returns to his lap.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((*LOL*))

Malcolm De Witt: "So he was weak. And rather than show your strength by training him to overcome his weakness, you discarded him. Because you are a ~fucking coward~ and you can't face the weakness in yourself, any more than Angelia can face her own fucking weaknesses."

Malcolm De Witt: 'And anytime anyone ~reminds~ you of your weaknesses, you attack them and savage them, so that they stay weak and you can piss on them rather than address your own pathetic dogshit self."

Angelia Caponelli : She moves one of her remaining peices. Their attention couldn't remain on Ingvar alone after all.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He continues to watch, and to listen, unflagged. Malcom's words apparently having little effect, at least outwardly.*

Malcolm De Witt: "Will you leave the sentai if we turn Trevor in, Angelia?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She nods at Malcolm's words. "Sadie's a good example of that. I see a lot of her in you, Ingvar."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He continues to play, licking his lips slightly. He'd like to see a lot of her inside him too.*

Angelia Caponelli : She looks up at Malcolm, "No." She says very softly.

Silkie: "He's right you know. You choked me unconscious once for suggesting you were weak. For showing you the truth, Ingvar."

Silkie: "I guess I do owe you an apology. Because that was when I gave up on you."

Malcolm De Witt: He purses his lips and goes quiet, looking over at his crys juice. He takes a sip of him and frowns. "Do you think, Ingvar, that we will try and keep you from Abbey? That we will come between you and her?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *One more move... one more move..*

Silkie: "You congratulated me for learning presumption. You taught me anger."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He shrugs a little, answering Malcom simply.* No. Or at least, not successfully.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks to Angelia, and speaks, even as the fact that it hurts her to do so registers quite plainly on her face. "Would you be able to ever trust us again if you said, as Mind, we aren't turning him in, and we did it anyway, even openly?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Ingvar, he asked if you thought we would try. Not if we would succeed."

Malcolm De Witt: He frowns at Ingvar. "Why would I want to come between you and her? I'm the one who fucking set you up with her, you stupid Hungarian freak."

Angelia Caponelli : "I wouldn't be mind any longer if the body acted in such a way against my will. I would expect one of you to have the balls to challenge me, take over and then do it if you so strongely disagreed with a call I made that was that important. And no I wouldn't likely trust you if you just went ahead and did it with out telling me."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: I realize this. I answered, by saying that even trying would be unsuccessful. You would confuse even the attempt amongst you. *He nods to her. Not visibly trying to offer insult.*

Malcolm De Witt: "Karlos and I both have Roses. Angelia and REyna have Lady White SNake. Why would ~any~ of us want to interfere with you and your love?"

Silkie: Ang> "If it's decided we should turn him in, will you warn him?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He glances to Malcom.* I do not see a reason for the attempt myself... *he waits, listening.*

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Malcom... point of clarification. *He raises a finger* you didn't actually set us up. We met in a cafe on broadway. You did, however, teach me how to dance. *He nods slightly.*

Malcolm De Witt: "Then why are you acting like our sole purpose has been to tear you two apart?"

Angelia Caponelli : "Silkie, that would have a great deal to do with the situation. I can not say yes or no. I do not believe we could take him in against his will though and so in my opionion he should be part of any discussion on his own fate. If there was a compelling reason to keep it from him I would. But I don't see any."

Silkie: Looks thoughtfully at Ingvar. "Do you recall the time you danced in the park and fell in the stream?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: I have not been, Malcom. I have been acting like I have found a relationship that seems to go in places that are not circular. Results are had. We develop. The lot of us. *he gestures around the room.* Have yet to do so.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Trevor has agreed to surrender to the sentai upon completetion of his cause amongst the Kin of the sept. *Mentioned offhand.* There will be no taking by force- I spoke with him two weeks ago on the subject. *He looks at Silkie.* Yes, of course.

Silkie: "Do you really think I'm useless, Ingvar?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looked like she was about to ask a question, but Ingvar's news surprised her, and she says nothing instead.

Malcolm De Witt: "Because you refuse to even show up to let anything develop amongst us," he says to Ingvar.

Malcolm De Witt: He blinks at Ingvar's news about TRevor and then frowns, looking almost disappointed.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks at Silkie, giving a moment to consider.. but realizes there is no actual way to blunt it.* Yes. I hope from time to time, largely by choice and distraction. I grow less hopeful with every meeting.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: In application, Silkie. You are not without your skills. But the most skilled agent for Firesnake in the world is rendered useless if unpredictable. Recall. I was recently rather... *he considers* unpredictable myself. Angelia took my place in the sentai until what time as I could aquit myself with more dependability. Yes?

Malcolm De Witt: "I think we should shoot Ingvar's kneecaps off with silver bullets and then see if he thinks Silkie is useless."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She finds her voice again. "We've had conversations in the past, Ingvar. Ones that, in my mind, had really started to let us understand each other. Or, rather, let you understand me some. And I've never done anything to harm you, either...I've always been very open with you. Why do you not do the same to me?" Her eyes pass to Malcolm, and something occurs to her. She holds her tongue, for now.

Angelia Caponelli : She frowns too and looks down at the board. (Honey called I have an hour before he gets here to take me out)

Silkie: "Did you choose the rules of this contest?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He gestures to Reyna.* I have. At the coffee house on Houston. In the village. Nothing came of it. *He looks to Silkie.* Yes I did. I found them appropriate.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He reaches out to move another piece.*

Silkie: "Knowing I could make you frenzy, why would you potentially set the outcome of this challenge in my hands?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Given the choice, I would not. I do not trust you in the least, Silkie. I would set nothing in your hands. However. In order to do my duty to the sentai, removing you from such decision making, for all that I do not think you could reasonably handle such responsibility, is wrong. *He watches her openly as he speaks.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: An eyebrow raises, and she folds her arms over her chest. "Explain how you were open to me in that conversation, where we discussed Low War, Angelia, Trevor, and a certain ritual, and that was it."

Silkie: "Why haven't you killed me?"

Malcolm De Witt: HE watches them, sipping his crys juice and brooding.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: I reached out, entrusted you with an important task that you promptly either forgot about, or did not follow through with. No, Reyna. I do not simply place my heart on my sleeve for all and sundry- without adequate belief in the person. Such would be an act of base stupidity for anyone.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: 3,1,7,1,2,2,

Malcolm De Witt: "We climbed the Mountain with you, Ingvar, what more belief do you need?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Hope, perhaps. *That was a lie.*

Angelia Caponelli : 6,5,3,8,2,9,

Silkie: "Hope of what?"

Angelia Caponelli : Ang looks over at Ingvar and kicks him hard in the shin under the table.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He looks at Malcom.* Something that follows that up. Something lasting, that is assailed and is triumphant more than the one time.

Angelia Caponelli : (well not so hard cause she's drunk and barefoot but still)

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *A grunt as he is kicked* vhemyarul... *He adjusts his legs, then looks at Angelia.* As unfortunate as it is.. that was a forfeit.

Silkie: Blinks at Ang.

Malcolm De Witt: "And becoming Zi Teng wasn't triumphant enough for you? Kicking Schondorf's ass was too trivial?"

Angelia Caponelli : "You lied."

Angelia Caponelli : "And that wasn't a frenzy."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She frowns, falling silent.

Silkie: Looks at Reyna, who seems to be the referee.

Malcolm De Witt: "Well, if you ask me, you both forfieted. Ingvar by lying and so therefore not answering the question, and Angelia by kicking him."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Becoming Zi Teng was triumph. But one that we have not held onto, as you can see. *He gestures around.* Schondorf was a thing we accomplished. All deads that are not heard, and should remain silent for as long as we can not somehow be a real sentai. A real pack. With a leader that you accept. *He looks to Angelia*

Malcolm De Witt: "Who here would accept either of these two as leader?" He looks around.

Silkie: "You should be Mind, Malcolm. I think Ingvar would make a better fist. He likes hurting things."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Malcolm's given his opinion. Silkie, what do you think the result should be? Did Ingvar forfeit by lying, did Angelia forfeit by kicking him, or did they both forfeit?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He shakes his head* But I have no regard for this. I have no confidence in any of you. However. We must stay together long enough to see Trevor through his coming Trial. Some of the things he said... it quite indicates that he may have a very powerful defense- and be able to lead this Sentai after seeing to it.

Malcolm De Witt: "Ohhh...." he nods, finally getting it. "You don't give a fuck about any of ~us~." He snickers at Ingvar. "You're just worried about your fucking ~standing~ in the Court, so you want us to come together so ~you~ look good."

Silkie: Reyna> "I think they both forfeit."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He shrugs to Malcom.* If you please. Yes. Let us take that now, and run with it. That was the only reason for my being here. *He nods, mockingly. But accepts that easily enough.*

Silkie: "Why would you even want to be Mind, Ingvar, if you don't trust any of us?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She nods. "I agree. I don't think either of you are qualified to be Mind of this Sentai."

Malcolm De Witt: "You just said you had no confidence in us, Ingvar, so don't make like I'm twisting your words around because you don't have the balls to say what you mean."

Silkie: "Even though I get frustrated and angry, I'm here for a reason. What is yours Ingvar?"

Angelia Caponelli : She looks around the room and then back to Ingvar, "Ingvar..." She says quietly, really only for him now that she can freely speak. "There is a door open here. And opportunity for you, to grow past what has been done to you. And it has nothing to do with being Mind."

Malcolm De Witt: "Trevor," he says, frowning and brooding into his hands.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: You dolt. *He shakes his head at Malcom.* No, I have no confidence in you. A result of the way things have gone between the lot of us. Confidence is not something you get pissy about not having. You ~seek~ it. Which, boy, is why I am here.

Malcolm De Witt: He doesn't meet Ing's gaze at his harangue, just continues to brood down at his hands, a bit of a sulk on his face.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Malcolm...I have a question for you. And, even though we're not challenging, I'd like an answer to it. Whatever your answer is, I'll accept, it's just a doubt in my mind that's popped up, and I'm asking for the opportunity for you to set it at ease."

Malcolm De Witt: "What?" he asks Reyna, not looking up.

Silkie: Eyes Reyna, then moves to set a hand on Malcolm's shoulder.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "You've been arguing since Firesnake stopped speaking with us that the primary way to appease him invariably involves turning Trevor in to the sentai. You keep steering things toward that. Every question you asked Angelia dealt with Trevor. How much of all of that honestly has to do with the sentai's relations to Firesnake, and how much of it is related directly to your personal hatred of Trevor and desire to see him suffer?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She says it with complete calmness, not in an accusing tone. Merely curious, her head tilted slightly to the right.

Malcolm De Witt: "Angelia, Firesnake ~deounced~ the man. He threw him back into the fucking hole when he tried to escape his punishment. You don't think he's going to be angry that rather than save Trong Vu's sentai, you people have been running around fucking saving his ass and ignoring ~every fucking duty~ we have as a sentai ~unless~ it has to deal with him?"

Malcolm De Witt: (oops, mod that to Reyna. Doh!)

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He gestures to Malcom* In large part, my own arguement. I thought that with him as your leader, you would actually get somewhere. ((booted. its raining here.))

Malcolm De Witt: "What about Ellis Island? What about Metoac? What about making us look good so that all the Snakes who weren't slaughtered by the DRagons, have some fucking ~hope~ that they backed the right people?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She nods. "I know. But you didn't answer the question, which is about your motivations. And you seemed very upset when we weren't getting the opportunity to ambush Trevor. This further supports my doubts. All I need you to do is to tell me I'm wrong."

Angelia Caponelli : She holds up her hands, "Hey Malcolm. 1. I didn't ask the question. 2. Not our fault that the people who were suposed to be dealing with bear have done nothing. I asked Ingvar here more then once what I could fo to help. and 3. We all know he was in that hole because a corrupt basterd put him in there in the first place. Torturing the torturor does not heal anyone or make anything better it only serves to perpetuate a cycle of bad and cause further embalance."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Angelia, please...I'm not trying to gang up on Malcolm right now. Let me finish this."

Malcolm De Witt: "Have ~any~ of you been to the Court? Have any of you gone to the DRagon's Nest and even offered to pull your weight there? Have any of you even bothered to do anything that would help them?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Tell me I'm wrong, Malcolm."

Malcolm De Witt: "I was disappointed because I thought at least Ingvar hadn't been taken in by Trevor like the rest of you. Now I find out he's part of your little posse."

Angelia Caponelli : "Have you Malcolm?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Angelia, PLEASE."

Silkie: Frowns, her eyes flickering from face to face.

Malcolm De Witt: "Reyna, I don't like seeing anyone suffer. I was the one who suffered to help reduce his suffering, if you recall."

Angelia Caponelli : She sits back and shuts up, downing the remaining alcohol in her glass.

Angelia Caponelli : (10 min warning)

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Malcom, I have kicked that horse trying to get somewhere myself. When you find that way blocked, the way left is to incoporate a weakness to make it a strength. It is true that if the focus of the majority's attention is on an individual, that person may as well be the leader of the group.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She remains looking at Malcolm, face calm, non-accusatory. "So then, tell me that I am wrong, that your motivations toward putting capturing Trevor as our primary goal, ahead of everything else, doesn't have to do with your personal hatred of the man."

Malcolm De Witt: "Yes, Angelia, I spend a good part of my week at Ellis Island, talking to the members of the court who are involved in protecting that area. I talk to the Snakes and I try to assure them that we're not a bunch of honorless fuckups, that we really do have an agenda, and if they'd just be patient, we haven't abandoned them."

Silkie: Selfishly wishes her sharks were still here, and sighs.

Silkie: "Ingvar, are you leaving the sentai?"

Malcolm De Witt: "My motivations for turning Trevor in are what i have stated: Karlos said we should do it, that the only way to help him now is to have the One Who Watches declared dead by the Courts. That in order to claim the renown we're due, we need to bring him in and acknowledge our association with him."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno -> Malcolm De Witt: ((Per+Subterfuge, WP point))

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He waves Silkie off, listening. This is important.* No. Listen.

Silkie: Maybe they could add a limb, and Ingvar could be the tail.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: 1,3,5,4,8,3,

Malcolm De Witt -> Reyna Varinia Reiruno: (She doesn't think he's lying. And she knows that he's wearing his nose ring, which will give him a hard shock to the septum if he lies, so either he's doing a very good job of hiding his pain or he's telling the truth)

Malcolm De Witt: (Just a note: Anybody who's present can see that he's wearing his nose ring, which is awakened and will give him a hard shock to the septum if he lies, so either he's doing a very good job of hiding his pain or he's telling the truth)

Silkie: Falls silent.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She watches him for a moment, and then nods, smiling. "Thank you, Malcolm. I appreciate that. I'm sorry I called it into question, it was an unreasonable doubt, and I wanted to get it out before it festered."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Every one of your points is correct, Malcom. Well stated. *he nods*

Malcolm De Witt: "Yes, I hate him. I do. I admit it. I've hated him for quite some time. But that doesn't mean I don't understand what he's done for the city and what he's done for all of you."

Silkie: Slides her hand into Malcolm's and gives it a squeeze.

Angelia Caponelli : "Malcolm, you have never asked me to come with you. Infact, every time I've tried to get involved with Ellis I've been told I'm not needed there. You accuse me of being blind by my devotion to Trevor but your reason for risking a man's life is 'because Karlos', who ochestrated this whole mess, 'said so'? I haven't said bringing him in is wrong, I think eventually it needs to be done by there's other things we need to take into account before we do it, but let's think about that reasoning a minute before we go shooting down everyone else." She looks sad for a moment before she gets up, swaying a bit. "You've never once sought out my company brother. So lets not be going all self rightious on my ass for what you've failed to do as well."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "Again, I am very sorry, Malcolm. I thought better to ask then to assume. Forgive me for doubting your character."

Malcolm De Witt: "Angelia, why should I seek out your company when you rejected me?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: For the same reason that I should still be here despite the tirades of all concerned. To learn, to listen, and to grow stronger. Because that duty is no smaller than that we owe to Firesnake, yes?

Malcolm De Witt: He squeezes Silkie's hand in return.

Angelia Caponelli : "Don't. Malcolm. You made all of us take responsibility for what we did. We didn't reach out. But neither have you. You've been doing exactly the same thing everyone else her has and that's living off in your own world and waiting for everyone else to come to you."

Malcolm De Witt: "Angelia, you have mafia ties. Why would the Yakuza want you involved with the day to day dealings of the construction at Ellis?"

Angelia Caponelli : She rubs her head and takes a deep breath. "And now I'm a garou. And I'm drunk and worked up. And I'll ask you all if you'll forgive me but keeping in mind drunk garou tendancies to go all 'hulk smash' I would like to lie down until I feel more in control."

Silkie: Glances at Ingvar then looks at Ang, and rolls her lips.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: ((I'm going to have to go soon as well, actually.))

Malcolm De Witt: He nods to Ang and then draws in a deep breath and exhales, looking very sad.

Angelia Caponelli : "Mal don't get mad at me for not doing something and then tell me why I shouldn't be doing it in the first place. I know you're a cat but I really can't deal with that until I'm sober."

Angelia Caponelli : She holds the back of the chair to steady herself a bit. "I do love you all." She says quieter before she stumbles off to her room.

Malcolm De Witt: 'I'm not mad Angelia. Firesnake is."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She watches Angelia go, and then purses her lips, before a deep sigh hits her lips. A look around the room, shoulders slumped. "So, do we get a D- on the test for effort?" Now, finally, she downs her entire, previously untouched drink, all in one gulp.

Silkie: Straightens up some and looks over at Ingvar. Someone's got to do something. "Ingvar, what can I do to be more useful?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He twirls the glass in his fingertips as he considers all of this. Not quite as he planned.. but then he'd been a little foggy on the precise outcome.. rather wanting a definitive choice in whatever direction.. he tilts the glass again.* Malcom. *He glances at him.* Where is the Dragon's Nest.

Malcolm De Witt: "Look," he says, glancing around at all of them. "Does anybody here besides me ~not~ want to follow TRevor?"

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He shakes his head to Reyna.* Nothing worthwhile ever comes to fruition on the first attempt, I do not think. Several tries may be required. The fact that we keep coming back must mean something. We try. It is enough for now. *He nods slightly to the woman before answering Silkie.* Following from Malcom's previous statement. I misspoke. You are not useless. You lack... *he considers* constancy. To be always a single Silkie that we all know. One moment a child, the next, speaking like an English professor. It does not work. *He watches her.* You were told the vampire was dangerous. And to stay away. Were you not?

Silkie: "I don't know the new Trevor, Malcolm."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: I do not. *He raises a finger.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: "I would, obviously, follow him."

Silkie: "Yes."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He nods slightly.* By whom.

Silkie: Frowns, because this is heading along a path Ang has already trodden.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He tilts his head, watching her.*

Silkie: "No one, everyone. I always run when I see Ammon."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He nods.* Very well. The people who told you this. Do you think that when you agreed, they depended upon you, in trusting that you would adhere to the warning?

Malcolm De Witt: "INgvar, you have obviously not been around many vampires or you'd know they have ways of making you come to them without you knowing you're doing it."

Silkie: "I did adhere to the warning."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She observes the two, listening quietly for the moment.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *He blinks at Silkie. Then looks to Malcom. He wonders for a moment, but simply shrugs and drains his glass before rising to put his clothes back on.* I quite find myself a bit fatigued as well. *One hand used to steady himself on the table.*

Silkie: "I told people he was hunting me. No one made him stop. I've escaped him a dozen times. The last time I just... wasn't quick enough. I didn't see him in time."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: In either case. We have to keep this together. *He seems a touch weary.* At least for a while. If nothing else, we cannot abandon our place as Zi Teng until a more appropriate sentai takes it up. Or the Snakes will have been right all along.

Ingvar Urgahaldt: *Fully dressed, he makes his way to the door.*

Malcolm De Witt: He sighs, and finishes his juice, nodding and rising to carry his glass to the sink. "Thank you for the opportunity to clear the air, Ingvar. It's good to know at least where I stand with people."

Ingvar Urgahaldt: Likewise, Malcom. *He nods, and exits.*

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She looks to the floor, head bowing a little bit. "You all know how to reach me if you need to." She turns, heading for the door.

Malcolm De Witt: He nods to Reyna, the turns to leave, looking rather upset. "Do you want to go out on the boat with me, Silkie?"

Silkie: Nods, turning to leave with Malcolm.

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She stops a moment, and looks back. "I really am sorry I doubted you, Malc. And I do love you, whether you believe that or not." Her eyes turn to Silkie. "And I'm sorry if I've treated you poorly. I'll try to stop that."

Silkie: "I"m sorry I got angry with you Reyna."

Malcolm De Witt: "Do you want to come on the boat with us too, Reyna?"

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: She pauses a moment, considering. "I...normally, I need alone time in times like this. I tell you what, though...I'll give it a shot, see what happens. Experimentation is good, right?"

Malcolm De Witt: He takes SIlkie's hand, and then reaches out to take Reyna's. "Being on a boat is the best place to be alone with people that I know."

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: With a bit of a shrug, she smiles and takes Malc's handgetting ready to leave.

Silkie: Squeezes Malcolm's hand tightly.

Malcolm De Witt: And he heads out with them, smiling, but looking rather sad.

Malcolm De Witt: (Want to fade there?)

Silkie: ((Need food! Yes! *L*))

Malcolm De Witt: (rolling GN to see if Malc could have contacted Karlos via Rose)

Malcolm De Witt: 9,10,8,4,4,

Malcolm De Witt: 4,4,6,10,3,7,2,2,4,

Malcolm De Witt: (So yes, consider Karlos as having been there via 'conference call'. *G*)

Reyna Varinia Reiruno: ((Fade here good. Bye, guys.))
