Collin Anderson: Location: The Vertigo, a upscale nightclub in Uptown Manhattan. Darkly lit, with a lighting and color scene of black and purple, it's one of the trendier clubs in town. Techno and Ambiant are the musics of the hour tonight.

Cherry Matthews: She feels like she is going to be screwed walking into the place, as she hears the music come from within when the door is opened. A snear on her face she makes her way to the door. Since she is more accustomed to Bars than night clubs and doesn't know the usual routine.

Jarod Freeman: He's waiting at the bar, looking out for Cherry, staying alert for the door. He's wearing a black collarless button-down shirt and slacks, without the trenchcoat. Just a water in his hand.

Cherry Matthews: She evenutally makes her way in, cover paid, and she winces at the music, cane held in front of her actully being used to guide her although where she is going she has no clue, She follows the wall to the left hand side.

Jarod Freeman: 10,2,7,2,3,

Jarod Freeman: He picks her out of the crowd as she heads in, and sets the water down, taking a drag of his clove as he heads for her. "Cherry," he calls out as he comes within earshot.

Cherry Matthews: She stops and turns her head. "Jarod?"

Jarod Freeman: He nods with a smile...natural reaction. The words come with it. "Yeah, Cherry." He comes up, touching her shoulder to indicate his location.

Jarod Freeman -> Jarod Freeman: 4,9,

Cherry Matthews: "Nice ta see ya." she doesn't react much to the touch excpet moving her head so that she looks like she is looking at him. "Show the way prettyboy." the music distoring how she hears the things and people around her.

Jarod Freeman: He nods, leading her along the side of the vclub, toward the office in the back. "All right...anything you wanna know before you get in there?"

Cherry Matthews: "Layout of the place, positions of things, what should I call him, and what's the normal protocol." she says immediatly.

Jarod Freeman: "He'll introduce himself by his Celestial Name." He keeps his voice low, so only they can hear. "He prefers that. Bar's in the center...stay to the side if we have to leave quickly. We're heading to his office...desk in the center, he'll be behind, you'll be on one side. I'll be standing off to the side."

Cherry Matthews: She nods her head, catching his discription of the layout. "That is how he wishes me to introduce myself to him as well?"

Cherry Matthews: She is also taking note of their way in so that she can retrace her steps out if need be.

Jarod Freeman: "Yeah, more then likely. He only uses his Host's name when in front of mortals. Just stay polite, and things should go well." They reach the office, and he nods to the bodyguard before knocking on the door.

Cherry Matthews: She tries not to laugh, her polite this was going to be a mess, but it was God's will, she nods her head grinning like mad. Waiting as silent as she can beside Jarod, her cane held in front of her a few inches off the ground.

Collin Anderson: The door buzzes and opens with a click, revealing an office as described by Jarod. Behind the desk sits a man. Ah, now who’s this sharp-dressed man? Standing at just a hair under six feet and physically fit, the man in front of you looks the part of power in his perfectly pressed power suit and tie. If pressed to estimate his age, you might guess late 30’s, perhaps? His hair, a short honey blonde, is combed perfectly into place, and a pair of light, wire-rimmed glasses shield his keen, rich brown eyes, which look astutely around the area. His face is perfectly clean of facial hair, and despite his average face, he seems to cut an impressive figure from force of personality alone. He smiles and waves them in. "Come in, Melioth. Please, bring our new prospective court member."

Jarod Freeman: Jarod leads Cherry in and guides her to the chair, helping her take a seat, before moving to take a standing position to the side of the desk, between them but not in the way.

Cherry Matthews: She listens to his voice, more so to recognize it in the future, taking in the senct of the room and the feelof it as well. Aaaaah power, her grin remains, doing nothing for her looks what-so-ever. She takes the seat, nimbly folding the can and laying it in her lap her hands resting on it set in such a way as to unfold it a go in a hurry.

Collin Anderson: "Good evening, my dear." He smiles a little bit to her and leans forward on the table. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

Cherry Matthews: She adjusts her head so that it looks like she is actually looking at him. "Yep, nice ta meetcha as well Tal-Kerioth, have heard many a thing 'boutcha. Thought it was a good idea ta check it out." the grin remains

Collin Anderson: He chuckles a little bit. "All good, I hope, Sotitereal. I'm honored to have a servant of the Alabaster Legion here in New York." He glances over to Melioth, then back. "So my Minister of Dragons here has joined the Minister of Eagles, Jerech-Kor, in saying you are considering joining the Infernal Court."

Jarod Freeman: He meets Tal-Kerioth's gaze evenly, remaining a mere presence, watching over.

Cherry Matthews: She nods her head. "Your Minister of Egals was the one who informed me of who you were, if not for her I prolly would have continued to wander and search for others on my own." she gives a laigh "Guess I should be the one thankin you."

Collin Anderson: "Not at all. That is our job, and the purpose of our Court. For us to unite to resolve our common concerns and protect our kind's interests."

Cherry Matthews: "Sounds like ya doing things right then." and nods her head. "She leans back and get's comfortable. "So yea you heard right about me thinking of joining the courts."

Collin Anderson: "Well, then." His voice is warm, friendly. "What can I clarify for you, my dear? How can I help you make up your mind?"

Cherry Matthews: "Well wondering how I can help ~you~ in anyway. My skills, although dampened, need streaching. I did not know if any others of my house had made it to this area, but I am sure I can be of some use to you." the grin has fadded this is business.

Collin Anderson: "Well...of course, I can always find use for the Seventh House, Sotitereal." He nods. "We have been unfortunately lacking in Slayers in the Court, and have been missing out on a lot of opportunities to research and find solutions to our problems."

Cherry Matthews: "I am sure then that my knowledge of that which lies beyond the Viel can come in handy, to solve any problems that might arise. I would not wish to leave the courts, Tal-Kerioth lacking in some way." a slight smile. "That would be remiss of my duties."

Collin Anderson: "Excellent, my dear. I'm glad that you've come to this decision." He nods, looking to Jarod. "Melioth, I believe that you're somewhat lacking in members of the Ministry of Dragons, correct?"

Jarod Freeman: He blinks, a little surprsied, but nods. "Yes, if you consider me by myself not enough."

Collin Anderson: "You do well, my friend. But you could use more help, I'm sure." He smiles to Jarod, who doesn't seem to have liked the 'my friend' label much, and looks to Cherry. "What do you say, my dear?"

Cherry Matthews: Hey the decision was already made, she just had to do the formalities. She remains relaxed in the chair listening to the conversation between the two men.

Cherry Matthews: She licks her lips with a smile on her face, her head bowes slightly to one side. "Tal_Kerioth how can I not do anything but accept this ~honored~ position. It shall be nice to be working alongside your trusted Minister of Dragons, as well as alongside yourself Tal Kerioth."

Collin Anderson: He grins at that. "Excellent. Consider it done, Sotitereal. Welcome to the Infernal Court." He looks to Jarod, then back to Cherry. "We hold Court, informally, at a home in Hamilton Heights, not far from here. Melioth can supply you the address."

Cherry Matthews: "Thank you for all that ~you~ have gifted me with." another bow of her head this time a bit deeper almost submissive to him. "I am at ~your~ services any time day or night Tal Kerioth."

Collin Anderson: "Wonderful. That is most comforting to know." He smiles. "Now, I will leave you to your work, unless there is anything else either of you wish to ask of me?"

Cherry Matthews: Seeing that as a dismissal she stands up cane still held firmly in her hands, she bows her head one last time. "Oh no, thank you for all of your time that you have gifted me with this night. I shall not take up any more of it. ~Please~ let me know if there is ~anything~, anything at all that I may do for you."

Jarod Freeman: He shakes his head silently. No business, other then to see Cherry safely out.

Collin Anderson: He nods. "I certainly will." He smiles. "I'm sure Melioth can see you out, my dear. Good to have you. If you need me, simple make an invocation, and I will respond."

Cherry Matthews: She stands up straight and nods her heazd. "But of course." she moves off to the side of the chair and takes a few steps backwards then slowely unfolds the cane once again. "Thank you once again." another bow of her head and she waits for Jarod to escort her out, although she prolly could make it out on her own.

Jarod Freeman: He moves to take Cherry, leading her out of the office. His movements aren't rushed, but have no wasted effort...he does want to get out as soon as politely possible.

Cherry Matthews: She takes those slow even steps despite Jarods wanting to be out of the room making it seem that she wants to be therein hispresence. Make every man feel like he is the centerof the universe is what Cherry's mom told her, and that is what she is doing. Or trying to. Once oytside the door though she picks up her pace to match Jarod.

Collin Anderson: He watches them leave, and then has the door shut behind them.

Jarod Freeman: He leads her along, toward the front door. "Well, that went disturbingly well..."

Cherry Matthews: Her grin reappears. "Ya think? Just hope you dun mind me working alongside ya."

Jarod Freeman: A smile at her that shows in his voice. "I don't at all. Just be careful. Kerioth knows I hate him, so he may try to use you against me and Baby. Be on your guard."

Cherry Matthews: She nods. "That is the plan. This is the course that was laid out before me and I accepted." she looks over to Jarod, keeping her voice low for only him. "Just remember who fought along-side you, as this all unfolds." she turns her head forward.

Jarod Freeman: "I wouldn't forget it for the world." He leans into her a little, and leads her out of the club.

Cherry Matthews: She laughs a bit and doesn't mive away from the lean in although doesn't return it either, as they head out of the club and the booming noise within.

Cherry Matthews: Once outside she looks over to Jarod. "Pointme to the subway Prettyboy, so I can go and warm and Italian if he hasn't found another bed warmer for the night."

Jarod Freeman: He grins a little and nods. "I'll do better then that, Cherry...I'll walk you there. I gotta take the subway to Midtown anyway."

Cherry Matthews: "Aaaah see I am headding off to Brooklyn(?) thanks tho. But a walk to the subway would be good, just don't keep outsinnin me....hey so what am i supposed to call ya now? Boss? And what the heck exactally is my position?"

Jarod Freeman: "Jarod is fine, thanks. Maybe Minister, but only around Kerioth. Technically, you're just a member of the Court within the Ministry. So you're a member of the Ministry of Dragons."

Cherry Matthews: She nods her head to all of this. "Okies, works...." she grins. "But I like my nickname of Prettyboy...oh well..." she laughgs. "Thanks Jarod."

Jarod Freeman: "Pretty Boy works too, I guess." He winks, and heads off to the subway with her.

Cherry Matthews: ((And fade*S*))
