Amy Becker : Amy continues to wait for Eddie to go as she watches Josh some.

Joshua Coil: *His head swivels back to Amy, and he looks calm.*

Amy Becker : "So, what are you going to do to them?" she asks with a charming little smile as she leans on the table.

Joshua Coil: I don't know yet, *he says mildly.* It depends on who they are, nd if they are really corrupt as you say.

Amy Becker : "Oh, they are." she says with a nod. "There's something different about you then the others." seh says softly to him.

Joshua Coil: I get that a lot, *he says with a snort, and raises his head slightly, to scratch at the scar across.*

Joshua Coil: *his throat, across his throat.*

Amy Becker : "Thank you for coming to protect me." she says with a soft smile. Seeming oddly comfortable around him for some reason. "I just wonder what your small group of people can do against so many."

Joshua Coil: *He shrugs.* We'll do what we can. *His eyes flicker towards the door, where Eddie left from, and back to the girl.*

Amy Becker : "Do you have special powers?" she asks as she leans closer to him.

Joshua Coil: I can fire a gun very well, *he says with a nod.* Nearly a perfect record in the past four years at my local firing range. I'm trained in three different fighting styles, and I can name seven different regions of coffee. I also make a very good grilled cheese sandwich. *He does not smile.*

Amy Becker : "So your going to shoot them?" she asks with a bit of a grin. "You can tell me. I'd like to know so I can sleep better at night."

Joshua Coil: It depends on what the mood calls for, ma'am, *he says, rather unhelpfully.* We will save who we can. For those that hurt you, we will make sure they regret their ways. I have a temper.

Amy Becker : She sighs and looks down at the table. "Okay."

Joshua Coil: *He pauses, and watches her.* I'm not a torturer. You are looking for vengeance. That is understandable, ma'am. However... we will be going in for justice.

Amy Becker : She nods a little.

Joshua Coil: I'm sorry if it doesn't make you feel any better. *And he seems to mean that part.* I promise you will be free.

Amy Becker : "I'm already free."

Joshua Coil: *He frowns.* They could follow you. Hunt you down. It's not assured they haven't, after all.

Amy Becker : "Oh, they've been hunting me but once I leave here I'm out of New York and get far away. And when you go and stop them, there surely won't be anyone to come after me." she says mater of factly.

Joshua Coil: And if we don't succeed? *he says idly. It's clear he thinks they will. HOWEVER, always best to have ones bases covered.*

Amy Becker : "I'm free no matter what, they will not take me back there." she says clamly, eyes watching the tabletop though.

Joshua Coil: You're so confident, *he says, and he looks up at her.* It's a good quality. But it is not always the right way. They could take you back.

Amy Becker : She looks over at him... "No they can't, but they can take my body back."

Joshua Coil: Easier said than done, *he says with a shrug.* Noble words. We'll try to avoid that, okay? You're much more interesting alive.

Amy Becker : She smirks some to him. "Ya, well I've avoided them so far and I doubt the world is really like they say. And if it is? Well I've learned my lessons and will just make the best of it."

Joshua Coil: City's not so bad, *he says with a nod.* She can be a cruel bitch, but she's not so bad.

Amy Becker : "Good, so why are you trying to help me so much?" she asks softly.

Joshua Coil: Because my Boss agreed to? Because I believe that it's wrong, what happened, to you. *he shrugs.* Because I can do something about it. Might as well be of some use.

Joshua Coil: ((*staples tag*))

Amy Becker : "Good." she says with a bit of a smile.

Joshua Coil: *He looks over to her.* Why all these questions?

Amy Becker: "Why not? All of you have been asking me so many." and she stands up. "If you don't want to talk then I can just go back and lay down." she says softly.

Joshua Coil: *A pause.* No, I'm sorry, *he rumbles.* I spoke out of place, ma'am.

Amy Becker: She smiles a little to him and sits back down. "Okay, so umm... how about you ask me some questions then."

Joshua Coil: *He pauses, and he frowns. Confusedly.* I... uhh... *He pauses.* Where did you grow up?

Amy Becker: "Chicago mostly." she says to him with a bit of a giggle. "Don't like asking questions?"

Joshua Coil: *He pauses.* Not really. I can never... think of what to ask. Or if I really want the answers.

Amy Becker: "I see." and she smiles some to him. "So what do you like doing?"

Joshua Coil: *He pauses.* I like coffee. And hanging out with Reyna. Oh... I like... sparring? And working out, sometimes. *He pauses.* I like jazz clubs.

Amy Becker: She blinks some about that. "Um... sounds exciting." and she smiles to him. "So you like this Reyna?"

Joshua Coil: I like her, yes, *he says with a shrug.* She's a friend.

Amy Becker: "Like a girlfreind?"

Joshua Coil: *He arches an eyebrow.* I don't think so. She's... *He pauses, and he swallows. Shrugs.* She's nice, is all. And funny. And... a... friend. *He swallows.* why, what about you?

Amy Becker: She snorts. "A boy friend in a place like Blackwood?" and she shakes her head. "No."

Joshua Coil: No, I meant... before you went to that place. Like someone... you liked. Or friends. People who would miss you.

Amy Becker: "No, I didn't have time for boys or anything. I was working hard at keeping my grades up."

Amy Becker: "I'm only 15" she says with a bit of a smirk. "I didn't have much of a social life but I was happy before."

Joshua Coil: *He shrugs.* Never too early to start. After school activities. Band. Choir?

Amy Becker: She shakes her head. "Not at Blackwood." she says softly.

Joshua Coil: That sucks, *he mutters.* Dumb school. Who would actually wanna go there? No after-scool activities... sports?

Amy Becker: "No, they have them but why join them?" and she gives him a little look of annoyance.

Joshua Coil: *He arches an eyebrow.* Because school isn't really fun, unless it offers something else. *He shrugs.* I was good in gym class.

Amy Becker: "Oh ya, Gym where the butch Phys Ed teacher like to use a ten inch strap on as a motivational tool?" she asks to him, arms folded over her chest.

Joshua Coil: *He makes a face. It is, perhaps, the first offset expression she's seen. He squirms.* Okay, ow. That would motivate me to beat the shit out of her.

Annika Brandt: The door to one of the bedroom opens, and she steps out. The girl needed to get out of the room for a while at least...reading through her coursework was getting to be a bit much, and she had a headache.

Somewhere in her mid-twenties, Annika stands at 5’7” before any heels or lifts come into play. She cuts an attractive frame if you’re in to the Aryan look – and how. Her hair is fine and straight, a pale blonde with several shades vying for attention. The highlights, entirely natural, are nearly white. Full lips, high cheekbones, strong bones, arched eyebrows laying serious and light over blue eyes that gleam with intelligence and clarity. Her skin is fair, all of its summer tan quick to fade under the slightest hint of approaching winter. Her hands are slim, nails a maintained oval. She walks like a woman that knows how to take care of herself, and her bright blue eyes, pale with the promise of a fresh autumn dawn, are almost always attentive. She’s dressed in complete black. Knee-high boots, linen shirt, a long black skirt. [Pure Breed 5]

Amy Becker: She actually giggles about that.

Joshua Coil: Whcih IS a physical activity, right?

Joshua Coil: d10: per+alert: 4,6,6,9,3,

Joshua Coil: *He looks up, his head snapping to attention, and his eyes... just can't seem to meet the newcomers.* Lady.

Amy Becker: She nods some and looks over to Annika as she comes in. "Yes, very physical."

Annika Brandt: A momentary pause, and she looks from Amy to Joshua, offering them both a smile, small and polite. "Good evening." The book in her hand is tucked under her arm, as she makes her way toward a couch, seating herself demurely.

Joshua Coil: *He nods, and he looks back to Amy.* My gym class was a lot different from that. Less sodomy. More tennis.

Amy Becker: She just smirks some. "I won't even tell you about the after gym shower."

Joshua Coil: *And now, NOW he reddens. He looks away.* I'd rather not hear about it. I have to wait to hunt, after all.

Annika Brandt: A quirked eyebrow, listening to the conversation and not totally getting the gist of it. This one is not familiar with stories of gym showers...she gets the general idea.

Annika Brandt: ((Add a ", though" to the end))

Amy Becker: And then she looks over to Annika. "Sleep well?"

Joshua Coil: *He looks down, and clears his throat.* If you are awake, Lady, I can go, if you prefer.

Annika Brandt: "I did sleep well, Amy, yes, thank you." She nods to the girl, offering her a polite smile, and looks to Joshua. "Do not feel you need to leave on my behalf, Sir. Entirely unnecessary."

Amy Becker: Amy smiles to Annika some and sits there for now just watching the two.

Joshua Coil: Yes, ma'am, *he says quietly. He remains seated, then.*

Annika Brandt: She looks between them, the conversation having pretty much died with her entrance. "I am sorry if I'm interrupting something...I did not mean to end the conversation."

Joshua Coil: No, it's all right, *he says, clearing his throat.* It was reaching an uncomfortable point, ma'am. I was digging, perhaps, far too personally.

Amy Becker: "We were not really talking about all that much. He was just asking me about school activiites." she says to the other woman. "He didn't seem to understant that I didn't want to be involved in alot of activiites at Blackwood."

Joshua Coil: I understand it, *he says with a shrug.* I just don't want to get too angry. My temper.

Amy Becker: "So you have a problem with your temper?" she asks, looking to Annika and watching her some.

Annika Brandt: "I see." She nods a little bit, looking from one to the other, book nestled comfortably on her lap.

Joshua Coil: Sometimes, *he says, honestly, clearing his throat.* I keep watch on it, though.

Amy Becker: "So do you know each other?" Amy asks the two of them.

Joshua Coil: *He looks up to Annika.* I've never met her before, no, *he says grudgingly.*

Joshua Coil: Until now, I mean, *he says with a shrug.*

Annika Brandt: "No, we've never met before this."

Amy Becker: "And your both trying to help me?" she asks suprised.

Annika Brandt: She nods. "You needed help. I was and am in a position to." The ends of that seem simple to her, as if it's a a matter of fact.

Joshua Coil: *He nods.* Coincidences sometimes work out for your merit.

Annika Brandt: "Quite so." She nods to Joshua's response.

Amy Becker: "I'm no complaining, just get the feeling I'm missing something. You in a gang, or secret cult?" she asks with a little grin as she looks between the two.

Joshua Coil: No, unfortunately not. Someone drank all the kool-aid.

Annika Brandt: She smirks slightly to Joshua's response, and then shakes her head. "No cults, no gangs, Amy."

Joshua Coil: *He rolls his shoulders.* I should be heading back home regardless. Need sleep before work tomorrow. Laidan should be outside.

Tatiana Brandt: Amy might remember it - the one walking that is Annika's mirror image. Her double walks through the same door, pale blond hair pinned up - sort of. It's held in place with a pen, only now she's taking that out and shaking her hair free. A glance aside to Annika, then to Amy and lastly to the man, on whom her gaze lingers. She takes the time to study him briefly before nodding a polite enough greeting.

Amy Becker: "What did you mean by Pack?" she ask Joshua before he can leave.

Annika Brandt: She looks to Joshua, tilting her head slightly, and nods. "Very well. Good evening, Sir."

Joshua Coil: *He pauses.* Group of people that hang out. Reference to some close friends of mine. Nothing serious. *He looks back to Annika.* Good evening, Lady. *He notes Tatiana as well, and offers her a head nod. He moves towards the door.*

Amy Becker: She nods some as she listens to his answer then looks over to the two sisters.

Tatiana Brandt: "Good evening," she nods to Amy now, tucking the pen behind her ear. She stands with easy confidence not too worn down by a long evening.

Annika Brandt: A nod to Joshua as he bids farewell, and then glances to Tatiana. A brief moment of eye contact, before she looks back to Amy with a civil smile. "How are you feeling, Amy?"

Amy Becker: "So, is it cool being twins?"

Tatiana Brandt: She blinks to that sudden question, somewhat puzzled. "We would not know exactly what it is to not be twins. There is no comparison."

Annika Brandt: A little shrug, nodding to Tatiana's statement. "One could ask if it was...cool being an only child, perhaps. If you have never been anything but, you don't know the difference."

Amy Becker: She actually smirks some, about to say something and then seems to change her mind. "Um, okay."

Tatiana Brandt: And a little nod to Annika's. "It is interesting to be part of a large family," she offers.

Annika Brandt: "If perhaps a little hectic, at times." She smiles a little, amusement showing. "But good."

Amy Becker: Amy just sits there watching the two.

Tatiana Brandt: "When Stephan and Eva found a way into the back cupboards, and put the small pans in the fireplace," she reminds Annika with a smirk that stifles her laugh. Oh, no envy for the scorched things.

Amy Becker: Amy blinks a little as she listens, seeming unsure of what to say the the pair at the moment and then sighs. "I want to thank you for helping me."

Annika Brandt: She nods with a slight laugh. "I remember. I image some of the food still tastes a bit of soot."

Tatiana Brandt: Tanja's head tilts, hands spreading in an open shrugging gesture. "You needed help. There is nothing else to say."

Annika Brandt: She calms the laugh quickly, and looks to Amy. "Of course, Amy. You needed it, and that is what matters."

Amy Becker: "Thanks."

Tatiana Brandt: A small nod at this, and the more recently arrived double heads toward the door. "I'm going to the deli. Do either of you want anything brought back?"

Amy Becker: "No, I think I'll go lay down... thank you though."

Annika Brandt: "Mmm...I could use something to eat, I think." She nods to Tatiana, not bothering to detail...the other surely knows perfectly well her twin's tastes. She looks to Amy and nods. "If you need anything, I will be out here, reading, Amy. Just call for me."

Tatiana Brandt: "Of course." Not unkindly replied as she kneels down, slipping on a pair of functional white boots. Even now, all she wears is white. Stark white.

Amy Becker: She smiles to them some and heads to the room she ahs been using.

Tatiana Brandt: She doesn't speak when she looks to her twin next - silent askance. Everything alright?

Amy Becker: (take care :) )

Tatiana Brandt: (( *waves* Thanks for the RPness! ))

Annika Brandt: A little nod, and a slight shrug. Well enough.

Annika Brandt: ((Thanks, Ashton!))

Tatiana Brandt: She stands then, more or less satisfied. They're not being attacked, and they have eachother. Nothing to complain about. Tanja steps out, presumably off to do exctly as she said,a nd bring them both back something adequate.

Annika Brandt: And she opens her book, returning back to her reading.
