Morgane Kristanovtich: A lick of her lips breathing a bit quickened, as she smiles watching him. Her fingers also carresing his in return.

Lucien Bourikas: He leans in to her face, as if to kiss her, but pauses and leans his forehead instead against hers. He takes a deep breath. "Perhaps we should be getting back, it is getting rather late." He remains against her for a few more moments then pulls back.

Morgane Kristanovtich: Her breath catches again, waiting anticipation, she let's out a shaky breath her eyes hold a note of saddness to them. she looks down to the side. "Would you think me forward and un-lady like if I kissed you?"

Lucien Bourikas: He meets her eyes, and they have bleed in the dim lighting to a deeper shade of brown, hard to not see the desire in them. "No, I would not. My problem would be how much of a gentleman I could remain once you did so. My moon grows strong in the sky..."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She watches his eyes and her lips part. a nod of her head as she brushes once more her fingertips down his cheek. "I understand." A soft loving smile to him.

Lucien Bourikas: He does catch her hand again, kissing the fingertips lightly then standing. "I'll drive you home, perhaps I can manage a chaste enough kiss at your door, when the surroundings are not as... romantic and the moon isn't shining down on your skin." Oh yeah, he gets real wordy as his moon approaches.

Morgane Kristanovtich: She glances up to the moon a frown of consentration, ;ole she so didn't understand what the moon on her skin had to do with anything. She looks back. a nod of her head. "I forgot you drove. I tend to take a cab everywhere."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She also stands up.

Lucien Bourikas: "Well, I was in the subway earlier, but I parked not far from the park. It isn't far."

Morgane Kristanovtich: A shake of her head. "I have not yet managed to accomidate myself with the subway system. If it is cheaper to get to work that way I might indeed attempt to learn it though." She says walking with him to where he has left his car parked.

Lucien Bourikas: "It's actually more dangerous, but yes, it is cheaper. I wasn't there to ride though, but to sing. I got a permit for a street musician."

Morgane Kristanovtich: ((*Hugs a mysterious Raven*))

Corbin Justice: He jogs into the park.

Corbin Justice: ((*hugs* Hope you don't mind the interruption. *G*))

Morgane Kristanovtich: "Congradulation, this has been a day full of good new for you." she says thinking about the dangers. "Well I could see how it went. Nathaniel I believe takes the subway when we do not share a cab home. The distance between Queens and Downtown is not all that great, but still a distance."

Morgane Kristanovtich: ((*L* Nope not at all actually *S*))

Corbin Justice: ~jog, jog~

Lucien Bourikas: (Nope, did he get the note then?) "Actually, I would.... I mean a cab is preferable." He has to stop himself in mid sentence. "It isn't so bad during the rush hours, but it packs people in like sardines. Later hours it is too dangerous."

Corbin Justice: Eventually, he spies them considering how FEW are in the park at this early, early hour. He jogs over to them.

Morgane Kristanovtich: She looks up to him a smile. "Your opinions matter to me, I can continue to take a cab to and from work, that is not a problem."

Corbin Justice: ((yes, he did *L*))

Lucien Bourikas: "It is also much different for a male than female."

Lucien Bourikas: He notices Corbin then and arches a brow. "Well, better late than never. Good evening, or should I say morning?"

Morgane Kristanovtich: How ever wierd that sounds to her own ears it rings true with what she means by it.

Corbin Justice: "I had to sleep a couple of hours." He slows to a stop. "Evening, Lucien, Morgane."

Lucien Bourikas: He smiles to Morgane. "They are my opinions, not my commands. Ask anyone... the subways aren't as safe for females alone than for males, but many use them daily. But, few late night."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "Hello Corbin, she says with a smile on her face. looking to Lucien. "I am not a weak woman, but I will continue to take a cab around the city."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "I did say." she pokes hinm in the ribs. "That they werew as such your oopinions did I not, no?"

Aerin Thomas: The man makes his way along the sidewalk, turning and heading in through the Artisan's Gate. Despite the cold, he's dressed in his usual get-up; trench over red lace-up shirt, jeans, and steel-toed Doc Martins. His staff taps along frozen ground as he heads in along the paths, looking around as he does so. ((PB 3; DD available on request.))

Lucien Bourikas: Corbin> "I finally spoke to Craven today." A huge smile.

Corbin Justice: He grins appreciatively as Morgane doesn't call him Mr. or sir, which makes him feel weird still. His attention is suddenly riveted to Lucien. "And...?" he asks with obvious hope.

Lucien Bourikas: He laughs lightly. Morgane> "I didn't mean you were a weak woman. Sorry, I am already sounding protective of you, forgive me."

Corbin Justice: He looks between Morgane and Lucien. A very quiet sigh. Poor Nathaniel.

Lucien Bourikas: Corbin> He glances around and smiles back to him. "And... we only await the rite now... brother."

Morgane Kristanovtich: A nod of her head to L:ucien her eyes twinkling merrily. "I forgive yuou, protectivness is quite alright, depending on the situation."

Corbin Justice: But his concern for his brother doesn't override a flash of happiness and pride, and he claps Lucien on the shoulder. "Brother."

Aerin Thomas: He looks up at the sound of voices, eyes flicking to the vicinity...off in the general direction he's heading. A slight purse of his lips, and then the polite smile comes up, moving closer to see who's there...ahh, one of them, he knows, and one he's seen. He offers a brief nod as he comes up.

Corbin Justice: d10: : 1,2,1,6,3,10,6,2,

Morgane Kristanovtich: She looks to Corbin as he sighs and she falls silent.

Corbin Justice: ((Ignore the roll, thankfully. *L* If Aerin is approaching.)) He didn't notice Aerin until the last moment, and then he smiles and gives him a polite nod.

Lucien Bourikas: d10: Perc/Alert: 7,5,1,3,3,

Morgane Kristanovtich: A nod of her head to Aerin, remembering him from the other night.

Lucien Bourikas: He is listening to Corbin, and doesn't really notice Aerin until Corbin turns his head. He nods to the other man.

Corbin Justice: He looks to Morgane, and he gives her a quiet, approving smile. Nathaniel will just have to deal with it.

Morgane Kristanovtich: d10: Per+Alert: 4,3,5,6,8,10,

Lucien Bourikas: His arm slips around Morgane's shoulders.

Aerin Thomas: "Good evening, all." He smiles to them as he comes up, a cigarette appearing in his hand and heading toward his mouth. "Good to know I'm not the only one who braves the cold weather and dark of night."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She catches Corbins smile and smiles softly to him and nods her head, she seems to know where his thoguhs are going perhaps?

Corbin Justice: Aerin: "It's the best time to jog, actually."

Lucien Bourikas: "I think it is the only time this city is even halfway at peace, especially here."

Morgane Kristanovtich: A few blinks as she now suddenly has luciens arm about her shouders, she glances around. "Good evening." she says to Aerin. "It is a pleasant evening to be sure, despite the cold."

Lucien Bourikas: (And Lucien, the unknowning new guy here :P )

Aerin Thomas: "True enough." He grins to Corbin. "Makes it an endurace trial as much as a cardiovascular workout. I'd jog here like I do at home, but I doubt that the NYPD would appreciate me running around in little else but sweatpants."

Corbin Justice: He laughs. "I don't know. You could become known as one of the resident weirdos and be accepted."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "Why would you wish to do such as that?" she says blinking to Aerin. public nudity to her is unheard of except in one case, and that was a bad memory.

Lucien Bourikas: "Despite the cold, I've seen a few with so little on it is amazing they are not frostbitten." Aerin> "You spoke of home... I assume that it is not New York then?"

Aerin Thomas: "Oh, I head resident wierdo a long time ago. Just wait until you hear the rumors." He grins a bit to Corbin, and looks over to Morgane with a shrug after. "It's an endurance trial. Where I live, it's less public then around here, and I can strengthen my body to adapt to the cold."

Aerin Thomas: "No, it's New York. Just outside the city." He looks to Lucian and Morgane, extending a hand to them in that order. "I'm sorry...manners. Aerin Thomas, at your service."

Corbin Justice: "I'm still too new to have heard all the rumors yet. Give me time."

Lucien Bourikas: He reaches out to take Aerin's hand. "Lucien Bourikas, well met."

Aerin Thomas: "A pleasure to meet you, Lucien." He smiles to the man, and looks to Morgane.

Morgane Kristanovtich: She holds out her hand. "Morgane Kristanovitch." she says "A pleasure to meet you. This is not an endurance, Try Norther Russia in the winter time." a faint smile.

Lucien Bourikas: "I got the chance to meet with some... Native Americans who had a ritual of endurance. They would dip infants in freezing water."

Aerin Thomas: Morgane's hand is politely shaken as well, with a bit of a chuckle. "I'd rather not. I'm afraid I'm soft and spoiled by the weather we've got here. Northern Russia would eat me alive."

Corbin Justice: He winces. "That's pretty barbaric."

Lucien Bourikas: Corbin> "One would think so, but then it did seem to work for them. They also liked to leave out meat until it had..." He glances to Morgane. "...had extra protein in it before they would eat it. I suppose that it depends on what one's system was used to."

Corbin Justice: "Maggots?" He looks ill. "Meat with maggots?"

Aerin Thomas: He nods a little to Lucien. "I wouldn't doubt it. The harsher the elements, the harsher the endurance trial. Some Native American cultures have lived in some pretty harsh environments."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She looks to Lucien after a nod to Aerin. "That sounds horrible. I did happen to like the snow here the other morning. It reminded me of home, but it is gone so quickly here."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "Corbin i believe he was trying to save me from hearing that, thank you so much." she doesn't sound anything but polite with that hint of teasing in her voice. "Spoild meat happens, but the intention of doing such a thing I would never do."

Lucien Bourikas: He looks at Corbin and shakes his head, glancing at Morgane. "Yes, those. They waste nothing."

Corbin Justice: He grins at Morgane, then Lucien. "She's not *that* delicate."

Aerin Thomas: "To each their own," he says with a shrug. "Personally, I prefer my food extra protein-free."

Lucien Bourikas: He smiles then at Corbin. "I will tell you the tale of a warrior one day then, who came from this... tribe of Native Americans. He survived great hardships, and endured many trials..."

Lucien Bourikas: Corbin> "I did not say she was that delicate..." He pauses and then chuckles softly. "I'm doing it again, aren't I?"

Corbin Justice: Lucien: "I'd like to hear the tale. If you're going to continue to stay at the condo, perhaps we can all gather around the fireplace one night."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "Why thank you Corbin." she says taking that as a compliment." she miles up to Lucien. "I can understand waste not want not."

Corbin Justice: He smiles at Morgane; he MEANT it as a compliment of a sort, actually.

Lucien Bourikas: Corbin> "Excellent, I would love the audience."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "I would agree with that Aerin. So do I."

Aerin Thomas: "There's several such tales, of those from those kinds of Tribes, I'm sure" he says to Lucian with a smile to the man. A faint grin and an acknowledging nod to Morgane.

Lucien Bourikas: He smiles to Aerin. "There are many tales, and not all of that... tribe. I've wandered the last few years, collecting some of them."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She reaches a hand to pat Luciens chest. "It is okay I forgive you."

Corbin Justice: "I wish I had some knack for storytelling." He chuckles. "I have all these *stories* in my head, but I can't make 'em sound like I want them to. I can't give them justice."

Corbin Justice: OOC> give=do

Lucien Bourikas: He hugs Morgane up against him and looks at Corbin. "Then just tell them to me, and I will work with you on them. All should be recorded."

Corbin Justice: He nods. "I'll try."

Corbin Justice: Another look at the two of them. A faint smile, though he glances away. Wonders if maybe HE should talk to Nate first...

Aerin Thomas: "It's a tricky talent, talespinning," he says with a nod. "I'm a poor talent, though to be fair, it's a bit outside my vocation."

Corbin Justice: Aerin: He nods. "Mine, too. I'm more of a mediator, really. I try to settle disputes and such."

Morgane Kristanovtich: One of her arms wraps around Lucien, hugging him to her, she takes a deep breath. "So Aerin were you just out for a walk around the park?"

Lucien Bourikas: Aerin> "You just come into the city for endurance?"

Lucien Bourikas: (LOL another of these cross posts all at once)

Morgane Kristanovtich: ((Great minds and all of that)Morgane looks up and smiles at Lucien as she and him say almost the exact same thing.

Lucien Bourikas: Aerin> "I find the calling of talesinger in my heart."

Aerin Thomas: A shake of his head. "No, I have several interests here in the city...I'm not that far outside of it. Endurance trials are just an added perk."

Aerin Thomas: And a look to Corbin, kinship by purpose there. "Me as well."

Corbin Justice: He grins as they find ways to clue each other into their specific roles.

Lucien Bourikas: "I have wanted to... visit the areas to the north. I... recently went through a section, but merely in acknowledgement, not a true visit."

Lucien Bourikas -> Aerin Thomas: (He did a howl of introduction through the North country territory when he first arrived. Aerin might or might not have heard it.)

Corbin Justice: He nods. "I know how that is, Lucien. I haven't traveled much outside my home yet, however."

Morgane Kristanovtich: She remains silent cluing in quickly, arm still wrapped around Lucien and leaning against him.

Aerin Thomas -> Lucien Bourikas: ((Aerin lives only about three hours away; though he is based in the Sept of Gaia's Hand, he's a closer to Manhattan then he is Finger Lakes. We can always fudge, though. ;) ))

Aerin Thomas: He thinks, and nods. "Ahh, yeah. I think I may have heard. I was visiting my other home, further up north, at the time. Good to place a face to the name."

Lucien Bourikas -> Aerin Thomas: (lol well, the post is in the forums, I meant it to be for the entire area, he's big on etiquette and all)

Aerin Thomas -> Lucien Bourikas: ((Gotcha. *S*))

Lucien Bourikas: His smile is geniune and he nods to Aerin. "I hope to see it some time."

Aerin Thomas: "I look forward to seeing you when you do." He smiles just as sincerely, though a little fainter perhaps, to Lucien.

Corbin Justice: "I think I'm going to head home, everyone. See you!" He gives them each a smile and nod and heads out.

Lucien Bourikas: "We were just heading home ourselves, if you want a ride, Corbin."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "See you later Corbin." she says to him as he heads off. "If you two wished to continue to speak we could go someplace else I am sure."

Lucien Bourikas: (I'm fixing to have to head out myself, it's nearly 7am here and I pulled another all nighter!)

Corbin Justice: ((*hugs* Night all!)) "That's okay, I'm still jogging." And off he goes.

Morgane Kristanovtich: Then she falls silent once more.

Lucien Bourikas: "We will speak more later then, Corbin." He turns to the others. "As much as I would like to get more acquainted, I'm afraid it has been a long night for me."

Morgane Kristanovtich: ((Night Raven *Hugs*))

Aerin Thomas: "Quite all right, Morgane." He smiles. "As enjoyable as this conversation is, I thought I would head into the center of the park for some solitude. I'll leave the two of you to your trip home, and to hopefully warmer temperatures."

Morgane Kristanovtich: "And please forgive, but the time get's late and I do have to work tomorrow myself."

Morgane Kristanovtich: A nod of her head to Aerin. "Of course, Plkease have a good night, it was a pleasure to meet you Aerin." a faint smile to him.

Lucien Bourikas: (*Hugs* Night Raven) Aerin> "Yes, the center does bring strength and serenity. It was good to meet you." He moves with Morgane then toward the entrance.

Aerin Thomas: ((Night, Raven & Dusty!))

Morgane Kristanovtich: She moves along with Lucien t the entrance, and then to his car, to head home. ((Thank you all for the scene *S*))

Aerin Thomas: And with a turn, he heads further into the park. A visit to familiar environs, before the long drive home to a woman' waiting arms. ((Thanks, guys!))
